Type Of Electric Shaver
The type of shaver you select will make a big difference in how you can shave. If you choose an epilator, you should know that this does not work in the same way as a standard shaver.
It pulls out unwanted hair, just like waxing, and although it can be a bit painful at first, it keeps your legs smooth and silky longer than a standard shaver. You only need to epilate every four weeks, instead of having to shave every week or even every few days. women’s legs-water
This allows you to hydrate while you shave. Another thing to consider is whether the wet and dry electric shaver is suitable for use on all parts of your body, including your armpits.
Armpit skin is susceptible, and you need a shaver with hypoallergenic slats that are gentle on the surface. The best forearm shaver does not necessarily have to be the best to use on your legs and vice versa.
Functions Should You Consider When Buying Electric Shaver For Women
The history of the lady’s shavers is fascinating. Philips was the first in the market to perfect the automatic shaver in the 1930s. In the 1960s, the cordless shaver, unlike wire shavers, developed from there into a specialized shaver, from epilators to hair trimmers, or simply your standard shaver.
The construction of the shaver also changed; plastic was becoming the norm in contrast to heavy metals, making the shaver more compact and lighter and more comfortable to carry. Nowadays, there are many different designs of ladies’ razors on the market, and they all offer great benefits as opposed to manual shaving.
If you are considering buying the best electric shaver for women, you should find several things. The type of body hair removal razor you need, whether you use it for both wet and dry shaving conditions, or perhaps you prefer an epilator for a traditional shaver. Consider whether you need a shaver that also offers a hair clipper.
Other things to consider are the number of blades on the shaver; this will determine the proximity of your shave. How long you can use the shaver without charging is another consideration. We look at some of the more relevant factors when choosing the perfect shaver for women.
a full battery can vary from 1 hour to 12 hours, depending on the model. You would like to make sure that you get at least a few shaves before you have to charge. There are some models with which you can quickly charge five minutes so that you can get one shave.
Low Battery Indicator:
This will remind you when it’s time to connect and charge your shaver.
this function allows the shaver to stop charging as soon as the battery is 100%. For some models, you must immediately unplug the power cord from the wall outlet when it is fully charged to prevent damage to the battery and shorten the battery life.
Easy to clean:
most razors come with a cleaning brush to make cleaning a breeze. Others can be easily rinsed, while a few have a self-cleaning system.
this is an accessory found in multi-function shavers with a small pop-up blade for trimming / scraping certain delicate or curved parts, such as your armpits and bikini line.
you want something that you can easily hold and feel comfortable in your hand, even when wet. It should also allow you to comfortably shave parts of your body without tiring your hand or wrist.
if you are a person who travels frequently, you want to take your shaver with you. A case ensures that you can make your shaver with you without damaging it or anything else in your luggage.

Questions & Answers
Can you shave super long "I'm lazy because its winter" wookie hairs with this razor?
Yes, but afterwards you have to clean the razor really well, every time !!!!
Is it good for underarm hair?
Yes. That is the main reason that I bought this shaver. It gives a clean armpit shave without leaving red bumps or pain. It does a great job for an electric shaver. You get a longer, longer shave with a knife, but if you are like me, you will also get nicks. Not so with this product!
Does this have a charger with it?
Yes, it contains a charger 🙂
Have had this 4 yrs. & it no longer holds a charge. Anyone else have this happen?
We are sorry to read about your shaver. If the battery is only charged for a short time, we recommend replacing the shaver, as the appliance is not designed to use a replacement battery. If the battery is not charged at all, you may have a non-functional charging station and you can obtain a new part number - RE7-43.

This is a life saver for someone who hates shaving! I apologize for the long review beforehand, but I promise you, the details will help you make an informed purchase!------------------------------------------ BACKGROUND------------------------------------------------------I'm used to getting my legs, arms, arm pits etc. waxed professionally once a month, back when I was in India. When I moved to the US, I realized how super expensive it is to get it done here, especially on a student budget! I tried waxing at home but there were always difficult patches which would turn sore and red because I couldn't hold the skin taut. Hence, like every one else, I started shaving! The problem was that I had never shaved before. Maybe once or twice in high school but that too when my mother was supervising me. I hated it. I hated spending extra time in the shower. I hated that it had to be done more often. I hated the cuts and razor burns. I tried shaving my arms once and it was a disaster. That's when I thought that I should probably look up electric shavers, and I found this one!------------------------------------------ REVIEW------------------------------------------------------Close shave:I think the main issue most people face with electric shavers is getting a close shave. If done right, this can give a close shave. Hold the shaver perpendicular to the surface, so that the foil and both side of the trimmer are touching your skin. The trick is to go back and forth several times over the same area. There is a little bit of a spring action, so that you can, very gently, press it down on your skin, giving a closer shave. If you have longer hair, apply some baby powder and run a dry towel across the area in the direction opposite to the hair growth to lift the hair up. If you have really long thick hair (or if you are a guy shaving his legs), use the pop up trimmer to trim first.Battery life: Even though it said that it needs to be charged for 12 hours before the first use and between every use, I used it right out of the box to test it out on a small patch. It shaved well. I decided to wait 24 hours just to make sure I'm not getting any reaction, and charged it in the mean time. The blades did spin faster. So I believe it's a good idea to charge it between shaves. The manual says that 12 hours of charging gives about 20 minutes of shave, which sounds ridiculous at first. However, it took me, the amateur shaving person, 10 to 12 minutes to shave both legs, both arms and underarms. I think 20 minutes is more than enough.Wet shaving:UPDATEAfter a few months if use, I tried out wet shaving and I loved it. It became my preferred method over dry shaving. Since there was no risk of cuts like a regular razor, my main issue of not being able to see in the shower with my glasses on was no longer a concern. I could go over the same area multiple times. Being in the shower already meant I could quickly rinse off the shaver instead of brushing the hair off after every section, and allowed me to get a better shave overall.I used some shower gel or soap, not shaving cream. I found that keeping the skin and the shaver super wet and slippery helped it glide on the skin easily. I shaved against the direction of hair growth to get a good close shave. This method took me maybe a few minutes lesser than dry shaving. Before the update: ___________________________Since I hated shaving, I don't think this is a feature I want to try. The manual says I can use this with some shaving cream, and I lot of reviews say that your skin needs to be soaking wet to shave. If I ever do try it, I will update this. I think it's unnecessary to wet shave when I'm getting very good results shaving it dry, however, I feel it's a good feature to have in case that's your only option, for example, if your sharing a hotel room with friends and don't have the privacy.___________________________Regrowth: Surprisingly, the regrowth was not as blunt as normal shaving, which is what gave me the confidence to shave my arms! You do have to let it grow a little longer than usual to shave well.Cleaning: It is extremely easy to clean. It comes with a dual ended brush to brush of hair during the shave. After I am done shaving, I pop the head off and rinse both, the head and the blades inside in water. It's a good idea to press your finger onto the faucet so that it gives out a sharp forceful stream. I first rinse the head, then put a some hand soap in some water in a cup, and leave the head in that to soak while I clean the blades inside. I first rinse the blades in the sharp stream, then I dunk the blade only in the cup full of soap water and swish it around, and then rinse both the head and the blades. I use a q tip to get into the corners of the plastic inside. To dry off, I sort of shake both the parts vigorously so that the water falls out, put the top back on to protect the blade, and leave it to air dry for a few hours. Once I know it's fully dry, I put it for charging.Ergonomics: For dry shaving and washing, it's very easy to hold. It fits well in my small hands and doesn't slip out of my grip. I don't know if the surface will become slippery if you're shaving wet with shaving cream. The placement of the buttons is good so that you can start and stop the shaver or open and close the pop trimmer with the thumb of the hand you're holding it with. I believe the design is good for both, right handed and left handed people. The side of the the blade is big enough for quick shaves, and small enough to get around difficult areas.Portability: If you have the right case to carry it in, it's easily portable. The case that comes with it is too small to fit both the shaver and the charger. This is my only complaint. Other than that, it's not too bulky and heavy to travel with.Longevity: Only time will tell. I have had it only for a few weeks and used it 3-4 times, and so far it's great. The blade and the foil are replaceable, so that's a good think. Other than that, if you read the manual, follow the instructions, keep it clean and charge it timely, you're doing everything on your side to maintain the product. If anything goes wrong or I face any issues, I will come back and update this.Overall, I think it's a good product, very affordable (I bought it for 14.99, the original price is 29.99, which is still great if it lasts for more than a year), it does the job well without nicks and cuts, and it is FAST!If you found this review helpful, give it a thumbs up! If you have any questions, please comment below and I will try to answer them to the best of my knowledge. Have a great day! 🙂
I keep looking for the perfect silver bullet. magic shaver, which looks like the search for Bigfoot or the perfect husband. It's not going to happen, honey. But similar to my beautiful but slightly flawed husband, this shaver is the best to find. I've tried others, I've spent more (you're clear I'm talking about the shaver, right?), But this is the one I keep going back to. Why? 1) It is for wet or dry use, and it is sturdy. I can use it in the shower or not in the shower. I can drop it into a bowl of water without having to be afraid of electrocution or ruining the shaver. It is as little as possible idiot-resistant.2) It gives a smooth shave and without scraping, scraping or causing other forms of pain. (Make sure your shaving area is either completely dry or completely wet, otherwise it will attract some moisture.) ALSO, make sure the foil shaver head is not squeezed or otherwise damaged - see below. - vapor sheet or indentation foil - my previous statement becomes invalid and void.) 3) It is easy to clean. Take the head off. Put it under running water while you still walk. Use the handy ilttle brush along the edges. Either / or / both. Easy. Compare and compare Styles II Mini Lady Shaver - Charging via USB and cordless - Silky smooth shave for sensitive to normal skin - Drying type - Ultimate ease and results - No skin irritations that are just cute when coming out completely, but cannot get into the guts get the gunk out. A shaver will only shave properly if it is gunk-less.4) It is cordless and rechargeable - charges easily and keeps charge during an extended shaving session.5) It travels well.6) Have you checked the price? It is incredibly affordable. Why only 4 stars and what does it stand out of my ideal of perfection? 1) I would like to have a better shave and not have to run the razor back and forth a few times to deforestation .... errr ... I mean ... smoothing my legs. However, I have not found another electric shaver, regardless of the price, that does better than this. A safety razor will always win, but it will also leave me with a few too many layers of skin removed and blood running like a river. I stay with the Panasonic.2) You have to be careful with the foil blade. If you betray it (such as by dropping it or stabbing it with something sharp), it will be as if you are moving a sharp nail up and down over you ... whatever you are shaving. Ow-ow-owwww! Then you have to replace the head or the entire shaver. (I usually just get a new shaver.) This probably applies to any shaver with a foil head. Be careful. That is it. Until "they" find the electric razor that shaves and make a safety razor without the bloody results, and you see I have a pre-nup with Bigfoot - the Panasonic ES2207P is the best electric shaver for women that you are going to use. Period. (If you found my review useful, I would appreciate it if you click the "Helpful" button. Thank you for reading! Liz)
I wasn't sure if I believed the hype about this razor, but I thought it was worth the effort to fight my chronic bikini shaving problems. Let me tell you, I will NEVER go back to shaving my bikini line with a razor. This product is fantastic! The pop-up trimmer handled some of the longer hairs very well, I first used that first. Then the foil shaver got a nice smooth shave. No bumps or cramps like I used to get from shaving with a razor. I also tried it on my legs and loved it too! I will recommend this to all my friends and will probably buy some as a gift. I think this is a must-have product for every woman!
My shaver has just arrived. I wanted to charge it right away, but discovered that the shaver attaches directly to the charger, not a cord. In my bathroom the outlet is just below my medicine cabinet, so I can't put it in there. It won't be a big problem to charge it somewhere else, but I didn't see where someone else mentioned it.
The Braun epilator has a 40% wider head to remove more hair with one pass. The tweezers extract more hair with a single stroke. This reduces the pain if you spend less time removing hair.
The MicroGrip Tweezer technology uses a broader, more profound, and a longer tweezer to remove the hair. With resins, the hair must have a certain length. The hair can be 4x shorter when using the epilator.
The Braun Silk epilator comes with seven attachments and extras. There are five caps to use on different parts of the body. It comes with a travel cover and a travel charger.
The epilator comes with a face brush for deep cleansing of the face.
The facial brush removes makeup and cleanses deeply in the pores in the face. You may want to use this epilator with an attachment on your sensitive front. Your skin must be as clean as possible before use.
In addition to a travel charger and cover, there is also a cover that you can use to take it everywhere you go. If you use the epilator, it means that you are hair-free for weeks, but you may need to take it with you during your vacation.
This epilator can be used in the bath or shower. It is intended to be used wet or dry, depending on your preferences. Beginners can use this with shaving cream or gel to make it easier to remove the hair. It will be less painful.
- Wet and dry epilator
- Seven extra accessories
- Get the job done properly
- Very painful
- Very expensive
Questions & Answers
Any tips for less pain? its so painful I almost dont want use anyone have any tips for less pain??? thanks!
Whiskey. About three shots.
Have you used it on upper lip, and does it work?
It works EVERYWHERE! The multi-heads with which it is supplied are Ab Fab. I use it on legs, forearms, lip (and other facial needs), bikini line, etc. It also comes with an electric shaver with a large head trimmer, so if you dare not do the bikini line enough, just use the other mounting heads that included with it. I upgrade to this after just over a year of using the cheaper Braun Silk-Epil 8. P.S. IT DOES FIRST AS CRAZY. however, the hair on your legs is so easy to remove that you can pull them out with your fingernail, with normal use the only two places where I still feel a kind of angel (no longer omg) bikini and under the arms. Even in that sensitive area, tighten the skin as much as possible.
Is this good for removing pubic hair?
I'm a man, and I use an older Silk Epil 9 (I actually have to replace it, because the engine seems to be worn out) and I use it to remove it from my whole body, including my armpits, butt crack, and family jewels . What one needs to understand about epilation is this. The pain comes from the density of the hairs being removed. Not the actual removal. In other words, the more hair you have in a certain area, whether it's on your legs, arms or in my case, my torso, the more it will hurt. BUT after you remove your hair for the first time, it will grow back, making further epilations virtually painless. Why? Because hair grows in cycles. This means that not all hairs come up at the same time, so regrowth will therefore be sporatic. Which means that you will see a hair there and a hair here. Not the carpet that you initially had. This loose hair epilation is a piece of cake. The most that you get out is a light tickle. So if you can get through your carpet in the beginning, follow-up sessions are a piece of cake. And here's a tip to get through your carpet. First cut it as short as possible. And because the 9 is a wet-dry epilator, use it in the shower or in the bath. And then work bit by bit on the edges, similar to how a man would shape his facial hair. But I will tell you this ... the more you use an epilator, the less regrowth you will see. My upper groin area (bikini line for women) very rarely gets any regrowth ... ever. It's like I'm permanently removing her there. And I was an extremely hairy Italian guy.
Do you think men could use this effectively when they only have an average amount (for men) of hair on their chest, arms, legs, ahem?
The correct term for the ahem area would be Man Land.

In agreement. First of all, I'm from the Middle East. I have very thick black hairs and, sometimes, 3 hairs per pore. I've walked away from Waxers several times, saying they just can not wax me because I'm too hairy and I'll bleed all over and STILL have hair, which is what happened every time I convinced someone to make me wax. So, I've been relegated to shaving with the hope of laser hair removal one day !!! But until then, this is INCREDIBLE. And, so cheap. I thought I might die, sweating in pain and literally salivating him on the first try, but I discovered a way that makes it MUCH LESS DANGEROUS: Here it is, ladies. Take a nice, warm bath. Soak your entire body in the bathroom for at least 25 minutes FIRST before doing anything. Then, once your hair is soft and soft and your pores are wide open, remove each part of the body from the water, foam it with a little foam. And and mild soap and then go to the city with your epilator. This reduces the pain by at least 60% for me, and I'm the hairiest girl you'll ever meet. I mean, I have hairs in parts of parties that you did not even have any idea that they had hair follicles. Therefore, take a bath. Soften, foam, then go to the city. It does MUCH better and, after a couple of times, you will not have any pain!
I actually paid for this, if that matters to anybody. It did affect my opinion when I was reading reviews because I feel like people who receive something for free are much more likely to give higher ratings than they may have.First off. I only got this a week ago. If my opinion changes, I'll update my review to reflect my views. There is also a lot to review with this, so I'm going to give reviews of the attachments as well as an overall opinion.OVERALLThis thing hurts. I am not one to avoid wishing ill will upon people I dislike, but I don't think I would wish this sort of pain upon my worst enemy. Oh, I read the advice columns. I tried a shot of vodka. NSAIDs. After exfoliation. In the shower. After a shower. Completely dry. Wet. Pulling my skin as taut in every direction possible. Leaving my skin be. Going slowly. Going quickly. I didn't try numbing cream, but I think I'm going to next time. The pain from this was worse than getting my tattoo and getting it removed--possibly worse than the combined pain of both. My hair is very thick and coarse (I'm pretty sure I'm half-Sasquatch; my skin is glow-in-the-day white and my hair is very dark), so maybe that's why it caused me so much grief. I ended up having to stop halfway through and finish up the next day. I was dripping sweat from the pain. There was a little blood. It wasn't enough to make me cry, but it was extremely uncomfortable. Each of my hair follicles was bright red after, and my skin was extremely warm to the touch. If I could have walked around without pants for the rest of the evening, I would have. Sadly that wasn't an option, so I put on some PJs and stayed as still as possible until I went to bed. That said, it may be the best worst thing I've ever put myself through. My hair normally becomes quite visible after 2-3 days, and I'm still relatively hair free. Some hairs did break off at the skin and they are becoming visible (more slowly than with shaving), but I am impressed with how smooth my skin is. Assuming that the hair comes back even remotely finer and/or sporadically enough to reduce the pain, the process was worth it. I am way too lazy to shave regularly. If this cuts down my need to remove my hair down to 2-3 times a month AND gives me an excuse to binge-watch a few episodes of bad TV while doing so, I'll deal with the pain.PURPLE/MASSAGING ATTACHMENT (5/5)This attachment is the best. It lets you get closest to your skin, so it can catch shorter hairs. I used this when possible. I even tested it on my chin because the sensitive/narrow opening head didn't do anything. I don't really think the rollers helped at all (maybe it helps people with thinner/finer hair?), but the closeness helps a lot. Short hair (but not overly short--the .5 mm claims on the box seem VERY generous to me, and I'd recommend having at least 1-2 mm) was still an issue overall, but most of what I had got taken off without too much issue. Besides the pain, of course.ARMPIT ATTACHMENT (5/5)You can't get quite as close with this attachment, but it is easier to use around awkward curves like your armpits. Warning to people who try to epilate their underarms: Be prepared for blood. Again, my hair is coarse and I have sensitive skin, but my pits were not happy at all. Several of my follicles were bleeding by the time I finished. The small surface area was the one relief because I managed to get each of them done in only a minute or two. Also, I have zero hair growth as of yet, and I usually need to shave my underarms every couple of days.NARROW/SENSITIVE ATTACHMENT (2/5)This thing is kind of useless for me. The hole is narrow to avoid catching your skin (which I didn't have any issues with whatsoever, even with the open attachments), but the plastic is so thick that it's hard to get short hairs. I get some hairs on my chin that I wanted to epilate, but this was useless for that. Unless your hairs are already somewhat long (thus quite visible), it won't help you with much.SHAVER ATTACHMENT--with and without trimmer head (4/5)This is alright for trimming. It isn't as good as a dedicated trimmer because you can't get as much hair at once, but it does its job pretty well. With the trimmer head, it brings hair down to about half a centimeter or so. Without the trimmer head, it gets pretty short--almost down to the skin. I found this to be a bit too short for the epilator, so I would suggest either holding it a bit away from your skin or using the trimmer cover if the hair you want to epilate is very long.STAND (?/5)I'm not really going to leave my epilator out all of the time, especially since I will supposedly only need it once or twice a month, so I'm not giving a review of this. It's a stand. It stands things.FACIAL CLEANSING BRUSH (3/5)I'm a little disappointed in this. I make my own facial products (moisturizers, exfoliators, cleansers, etc.), and I was hoping that this might be something to either add to or replace my homemade exfoliators. I'll use it until the batteries run out or the head goes bad, but I doubt I'll keep using it after that. My skin doesn't feel any smoother or cleaner than when I use the products I make myself, and it has a bigger environmental impact thanks to the batteries. If you don't already have a decent product you use for exfoliation, this is okay. But if you have something you're already a fan of, I wouldn't expect miracles.
Please take a look at my photos before and after. I waited until I had a 3-day weekend to try this, so that my hair was long enough to remove it. I'm very hairy, so imagine the looks of horror and disgust on the faces of the people I ran into in the store when they saw me, looking like a pint-sized version of Chewbacca. Anyway ... It took me a while to figure it out, but once I did, things went pretty well. I prick my chin hair every weekend, and that process usually lasts between 30 and 45 minutes. Using this, I completed the task in about 10-15 minutes. (I'm sure the next time will be even less than that, now that I know what I'm doing). If you have already pulled the hair from your chin, this will be uncomfortable, but I would not say it is painful. I would use it again, since it consumes much less time than pricking each hair. Cleaning was easy, and so far, my face is not too irritated. (When I finished, I used Lily of the Dessert Aloe Vera Gelly). One of the problems I had was that the manual suggested removing the standard lid and placing the lid on it. The facepiece covers quite a few tweezers, leaving only some (I guess this is because most women only have a small amount of facial hair to remove and do not need all the tweezers). This posed a problem, since the epilator could not grab any of my hairs (except a few lengths). I finished replacing the original cap and then I was able to remove the unwanted hair. As you can see in the photos, YES she removed her hair, but there were still remnants of hair. I had to use my tweezers later, which, since this cost almost $ 100, was a bit disappointing. I really do not think I should have had to go back and remove the hair on my own, when this is supposed to remove the shortest hair. My hair is very thick, so maybe this will work better for someone with fine hair. Maybe next time, I'll try to brush my chin a few more times to see if they'll remove my hair, but since I've never shaved before, I made a conscious effort to run the epilator in each section of my face no more than 3 times. I did not try it on my sideburns, since I wanted to know if I will develop lumps / hairs grown after using this. I will update this review in a few weeks ...
OK. First, I am Middle Eastern. I have very thick, black hair and sometimes 3 hairs per pore. I have deviated several times from Waxers, saying that they just can't wax me because I'm too hairy and will just bleed everywhere and still have hair, which is what happened every time I convinced someone to wax me. So I was relegated to shave with the hope of laser hair removal one day !!! But until then this thing is AWESOME. And so cheap. I thought I might die, sweat in pain and literally drool over it at first use, but I have discovered a way that makes it MUCH LESSER: Here, ladies. Take a nice, warm bath. Soak your entire body in the bath for at least 25 minutes before doing anything. After your hair is nice and soft and your pores nice and open, remove every part of the body from the water, foam it in with some foam. y and smooth soap and GO TO CITY with your epilator. This reduces the pain by at least 60% for me, and I am the hairiest girl you will ever meet. I mean, I got her at parties that you didn't know it even had hair follicles. So take a bath. Soften, soap and then go to the city. It makes it MUCH better and after a few times you no longer have any pain!
Next on our list is the Panasonic ES-WD51-P ladies wet/dry epilator, a slim looking razor that can be used wet or dry. That is why we recommend it:
Forty-eight rotating tweezers ensure an ultra-smooth shave.
Nickel-free blades are hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin.
The rechargeable battery is charged within one hour and works for a maximum of 40 minutes on one charge.
- The price is definitely on the high side for an electric shaver.
- This is technically an epilator and not a shaver, so there might be some pain in the first instance.
- It does not work while the cord is connected.
If you are used to a less messy option for complete hair removal, this model is a good choice for you.
- Wet/dry cordless use
- 48 rotating tweezers discs
- Dual-disc side-by-side sliding head
- The 3-in-1 hair removal system
- Nickel-free, hypoallergenic blades

How do you remove the battery cover? Just got mine but no instructions and do not want to break it.
It won't break. Push the end.
Do you have to be careful when using it?
Yes. Unfortunately, the blades are located on both sides of the shaver.
Can this be uses for bikini area?
Yes! I have used it for my entire "lady parts" area and it works well
Is it good for a first razor?
No, it's the worst razor I've ever bought! Don't waste your money! It will work the first use and then DO NOT shave hair !!!!

For the price ($ 13) you really can't beat it for a decent, battery-operated shaver for women. The shaver works on 2 AA batteries and the device comes with new batteries ready to install. Installation was very easy. There is only one speed on and off, but that's fine for me. I can't imagine using different speeds on a razor because one speed works best. I have had this shaver used on my legs instead of using a standard disposable razor. Of course, a traditional razor blade with soap and water will give you the most shave, but it does a great job and quickly removes hair from my legs. The shaver is not super loud and also has no scratches or notches in my legs. The shaver comes with a plastic cover and you can also remove the shaving area for washing. I am not going to use it wet, but this is great for getting the hair off my legs. I haven't tried it on my armpits yet, just like I do with soap and water and a normal razor. I like that this is a brand name and not a cheap brand. It is still just plastic, but for the price I am very satisfied with my purchase. Thank you for reading my review Becky Brooks
I bought this for my 10-year-old daughter and am very satisfied with the implementation. It is perfect for a younger girl / preteen to prevent them from injuring themselves with a real razor.
Have this to replace a small bikini trimmer that I need new batteries for every use ... I've had this for a month now, and also use it for legs and armpits and still use the batteries that came with it . I am very satisfied with this product and it was no longer work today today I will buy another one tomorrow. Follow for a few months in ... still on my original set of batteries ... I have stopped using disposable razors and only use these! I let it fall hard once and the pieces of knife off, they flipped back inside (now a bit of a bow) but still works great ... try not to drop it is my advice lol ...
For tween leg hair this is a great purchase for Adult Monster 30+ leg fur I say skip 🙂
This epilator has 21 rotating trimmers that efficiently remove the hair from your skin and keep it supple for weeks. It can remove fantastic hair, making it a better choice than waxing. It also becomes less uncomfortable over time. The shaver has an efficiency cap that ensures that your epilator is placed at the right angle (90 degrees) to remove as many hairs as possible at once.
It can work at two different speeds – one is the soft speed while the other is the efficient speed. The ergonomic design makes it easy to hold and feels comfortable in hand.
And it comes with a 2-year warranty. This is not an epilator that can beat one of the costly ones. But it’s useful. You may have to go through an area more than once (although even some expensive ones may need it).
But it is not painful like some other epilators. It leaves your skin smooth for weeks. And it is easy to clean; remove the head and wash it.
This epilator is also provided with a cord, but that doesn’t necessarily have to be bad. Epilators are for dry shaving anyway. And this one has a long cord that gives you a certain amount of flexibility. The only drawback is that there is no built-in light, making it difficult to check if you have missed a hair. But for the lower price, it is a great way to enter the world of epilators.
- 2-year warranty
- Not as painful as other
- Ergonomic design
- Slow (requires multiple passes through one part of the body)
- No built-in light
Questions & Answers
Can this be used on legs after 2 days of regrowth after shaving, i can't stand hair on my legs for any longer than that?..
It depends on how fast or slow your hair grows. If you can't stand it after 2 days, I'd say yes. I personally, yes, I use it after two days and this is why. Prior to purchasing, I let my leg hair grow for more than a week. Made me crazy! But I already had my hair grow out, so when I used this, I got it all instead of getting it the next day because your hair grows in cycles. A few days later I noticed MANY ingrown hairs !! Omg, I must have had a hundred! So I plucked and dug and plucked away most of the day. I had even used the exfoliating rags every other day! I also noticed that the hairs had not taken root, and you know what that means ... it broke the hairs instead of pulling them out! Hence the ingrown ..... so now two days are tops for me. If you let out the purple protector, it will come straight against your skin and as long as your skin is tight, it will not pinch or grasp and it will better pull the hair through the root.
Does it work with 240V or only 110V because i want to be able to use it on my vacation in Europe?
It works for both. I use mine in the Philippines where it is 220V.
How long is your hair gone?
It grows again 3-4 days after I have removed my hair with this product. So it is a bit tricky to make this sound 1-2 days a week, and it takes a long time because you have to do more than twice until all your hair is completely gone.
It says in reviews and description ok for facial hair - but box instructions say only use on legs WHY is that and can it be used on the face?
yes, this is only used for flat skin such as legs. it is really painful when cleaning armpit hair 。oooo diapointed！

I did a lot of readings on hair removal before buying the Philips Satinelle. I exfoliated and shaved several days before the first use (and exfoliated again minus the shaving the first day of use). The product came as described with an extra long cord, which facilitates movement through the bathroom. This little baby is quite noisy, but my husband and my child asleep did not wake up in the next room. I successfully removed the hair from both armpits in a single session. From the comments I read, I have to say that it was not as painful as I thought. It stung me a bit later, but in 30 minutes my armpits had no red bumps and they were so soft. I did not use deodorant for a day to be on the safe side. I also had no discomfort at work that night. The next day I used deodorant and everything was fine. Not having irritation from shaving is wonderful! I had to shave my underarms TWICE in a day, that's how fast the hair has come back. Once a day at least. No more! It's been 3 days and my armpits are as smooth as a baby's bottom literally! In the legs: I attach a photo for you to see. I followed all the recommended exfoliation procedure, I was slow, I held it at a 90 degree angle and my legs had many red bumps. It took much longer than anticipated to complete both legs (knees down) and I still could not get all the hairs. I'm still learning, so I'm not going to let it discourage me once. Some say that those bumps lasted days and even weeks of irritation and that they led to ingrown hairs, but this is false for me. My legs had the same twinge of light after shaving with a razor. I used my moisturizer and the bite calmed down in 10 minutes. Fortunately the next morning my legs are almost completely clear! However, not all the hair is gone, so my legs are not soft for babies. It is definitely a learned procedure. The skin appears in all types of sensitivity levels, so I agree that this form of hair removal is not for everyone. For lack of a better word it is quite "rewarding" if it works! Oh, pit with smooth arms! The image that appears more to the left in my image shows my leg after I have calmed it in cold water, you DO NOT use water while using this epilator! UPDATE: I love this thing. I did a little more reading, the hair and skin grow in rounds and layers, so it is almost impossible for my legs to be completely smooth, however, I used it several more days in a row and got my legs satisfactorily. A week later, they still feel / look less than 1 day shaving razor. THE RED BULBS WERE ONLY AN IRRITATION "FOR THE FIRST TIME THAT IT EXPLODED THAT AREA". There are no red punches in all subsequent rounds. It is used on the inside of the thighs near the bikini area and has been much more successful than a razor. After 24 hours, the red bumps disappeared and he did not shave. My armpits are still soft! Not having irritation from shaving or rapid hair growth is surprising. Now that my skin is accustomed, I can sit down and touch up what is necessary without having to waste my time and water shaving in the shower. Another advantage: you will usually want to shave and leave your hair free when you go to the beach. Or swimming to shave right before the event makes sense? Until you get in the water and your legs are burned because you shaved the day before or the day before? NO LONGER! Once your legs are used, the faster speed is no longer intimidating. Extremely happy with how this epilator has worked in so many ways!
Those of you who are new to epilators, is basically that all your hairs are being pulled off at a very high speed. It is no less painful than pulling each hair, only faster. First, a little about me: I think basically somewhere in my ancestry, a Norwegian was paired with a Sasquatch. I have super sensitive skin, with ridiculously dark hair. This has made hair removal a challenge in my life. Shaved off? Forget this. It is hardly within 12 hours. Shave while it is smooth? Shave burn, no matter what. In those 12 hours of shaving, if it turns out that I'm going to swim or I get goose bumps, I feel like the needles stab my legs where the hair is trying to escape. Therefore, shaving is a no-go.Waxing. So far, my method of removing hair for the legs and bikini area. Cons: It's expensive, or if you do it yourself, messy and takes a long time. In addition, you need to grow enough hair between the wax works. So basically, I spend most of the summer in long skirts and light pants. I love winter. Legging season. Yes thanks! Fortunately, my husband does not care about my Sasquatch legs so much in the winter. I tell him it helps keep my legs warm. So, why the epilator? Well, I was on vacation with my family, and I could not go anywhere to get waxed up, and I wanted to go swimming without scaring the kids or tourists thinking they saw a little Sasquatch and taking blurry pictures. My sister-in-law had this model, and raved about it. I was curious, so I went for it. It took a while. The pain was intense. And even though I've had 2 children, I'm a bit weird when it comes to pain. It is difficult to describe the feeling that all the hairs on the legs are pulled off by turning the blades at the same time. Honestly, it was similar to the feeling of getting a tattoo. I had my husband taste it on a small part of his arm and he yelled. I could not handle it. I had to keep taking pain breaks. My skin would get used to it for a while, then I would have to move to a new place, and everything would start again. After that, my legs looked (and FELT) as if I had already burned the sun. I swore, never again. BUT, it lasted much longer than waxing. The hair became scarcer, softer and slower than when I turned. My sister-in-law said that the first time was the worst. Then, I bought it and gave it another chance. The second time, I had a good system. Smaller and more repetitive movements, simply by sliding them gently on the skin (without the need to push, like an electric razor), pulling the skin shown just above where you are working. And you know what? She was right. Much less painful. Done in about 30 minutes or so. Still painful, but tolerable. There is no redness in the skin (except in some places where the skin is super sensitive). Soft legs once more. And the best thing is that I do not have to wait for the hair to become too long and thick to use again, as it will pull the hair at almost any length as it grows. The thicker the hair is, the less painful it is. If you get it, I recommend you try it twice. Remember small and repetitive movements, slide gently on the skin, pull the skin that is shown above where you work. If you have done many tattoos, the feeling will be similar, so you will be fine. I do not know if I'll ever wear it in the area of my bikini, I'm not that brave. But I think I've found a way to never have to wax my legs again.
Those of you who are not yet familiar with epilators, it is actually all your hair that is plucked at a very high speed. No less painful than picking any hair, just faster. First a bit about me: I actually think at a certain point in my origin, a Norwegian who is accompanied by a Sasquatch. I have super sensitive skin, with ridiculously dark natural hair. This has made hair removal a bit of a challenge in my life. Shave? Forget it. It is stubbly within 12 hours. Shave while it's stubborn? Shaving fire, whatever happens. When I accidentally say, go swimming or get goosebumps during those 12 hours of shaving, it feels like needles stick my legs where the hair is trying to escape. Shaving is therefore prohibited. So far my favorite hair removal method for legs and bikini line. Cons: it is expensive, or if you do it yourself, messy and time-consuming. Plus, the hair should grow long enough between wax jobs. So I actually spend most of the summer in long skirts and light pants. I love the winter. Legging season. Yes thank you! Fortunately my husband doesn't mind my Sasquatch legs in the winter. I tell him it keeps my legs warm. So why the epilator? Well, I was on vacation with my family, and I couldn't go anywhere to get waxed, and I wanted to go swimming without scaring kids or tourists who thought they saw a short Sasquatch and made blurry photos of me. My sister-in-law had this model and was delighted about it. I was curious, so I went for it. It took a while. The pain was intense. And although I have had 2 children, I am a bit of a wimp when it comes to pain. Difficult to describe the feeling that all your leg hairs are being pulled out by turning the blades in one go. To be honest, it was similar to the feeling of getting a tattoo. I let my husband try it on a small part of his arm and he screamed. Could not handle it. I had to keep taking breaks because of the pain. My skin would get used to it a bit, then I would have to move to a new place, and it would all start again. The hair grew scarcer, softer and slower than when I waxed. My sister-in-law said the first time was the worst. So I bought it and gave it another chance. The second time I had a good system. Smaller, repetitive movements, just gliding gently over the skin (no need to press, such as an electric shaver), draw the skin just above where you work. And you know what? She was right. Much less painful. Ready in about 30 minutes or so. Still painful, but acceptable. No redness on the skin (except a few places where the skin is super sensitive). Smooth legs again. And the great thing is that I don't have to wait for the hair to become super long and thick to use it again, because it will pluck the hair to almost any length as it grows. The scarcer the hair, the less painful it is. If you get this, I recommend trying it twice. Remember small, repetitive movements, glide gently over the skin, pull the skin that was learned above to where you work. If you have received many tattoos, the feeling will be the same, so it will be fine. I don't know if I will ever really use it on my bikini line, I'm just not that brave. But I think I've found a way to never have to wax my legs again.

The curved head of this foil shaver keeps the foil smooth against the skin. This gives you a more comfortable, smoother shave without irritation. The irritation often comes from multiple steps on the surface to remove missed hairs.
This means that long or short hair doesn’t matter because the blades cut them close to the skin.
At the top of this, the shaver is a flexible, double-sided trimmer. This prepares the hair before the movies come in to do their job.
Some hairs can be longer than others. The trimmer lines the nose to cut.
There is a strip of almond oil on the shaver itself. It will smooth and nourish your skin. The oil lags behind every course of the shaver to soften the skin. It leaves your skin smooth and silky.
The shaver is completely waterproof so that you can use it in the shower. It is also great with shaving gel or cream in combination with the almond oil strip.
- 100% waterproof
- Anti-microbial finish
- Almond oil strip
- Expensive replacement blades
- Getting in and out of the charger is difficult
- Charging takes a long time

No. It removes very fine facial hair!
Does this tug hair? Does it nick, cut, or scratch skin?
No, I have a nice smooth cut ...
My little petite 10 year old daughter unfortunately has to start shaving her legs. Would this be a good one for her to use?
How did this work for your daughter? I have the same problem with my 10 year old.

Loaded it the day before I left for my honeymoon and the charge lasted until just last week! I love it! It worked great! A little tip tho, shave before you get in the shower or bath or a few hours after. A battery-powered razor shaves closer when your skin is dry. I didn't expect that I would use it as a wet shaver, but I found that using it as a dry shaver improves hair removal much better. My legs were much smoother and softer when I use them before I get my skin wet or moist. The color is just as shown. I love it. I have always used a disposable shaver but thought I could upgrade and try a battery-powered shaver and I'm glad I did!
Had the Panasonic ES2207P that lasted for years but just shave enough. When it was time to replace it, I thought I'd try this Remington shaver and am very happy with it. Although it may be difficult to get so close to a hand razor, it almost reaches it and is much closer than the Panasonic. Happy with my purchase. Highly recommend. Update - 2/6/18 - I lowered my star rating because the shaver stopped working three weeks after my original purchase. It was replaced without problems, but today, four months later, it is not turned off. It is now sitting outside while the battery is running out. Although it gives a great, smooth shave, I don't recommend it due to chronic mechanical problems.
I have never used an electric shaver like this. I am very happy with this purchase! I shave my legs every other day and it is so annoying to have to spend all that time in the shower, possibly to cut a lot. With this I take my quick shower and then I use this razor as soon as I am out and dry. So quick and easy. It leaves me with a big shave, especially in the sensitive areas, which are a bit nerve-racking and get a soapy razor around. I absolutely love this razor. You no longer have to buy expensive razors or shaving cream every month. Make sure you exfoliate before you have it in your hand to remove all the hair and slough from the skin to get the best shave. Buy this seriously. You will like it!
It is not nearly as good as my old Remington who lasted 15 years. I had to buy a new shaver because the old heads were no longer available. Total setback. After only a few months of this, it cannot be charged properly and can only be used for about 45 seconds without delay, even after it has been on the charger all night.
The Panasonic facial trimmer ensures that your face is never blurred enough to be perceived as a human being. It features a smooth, rotating head that glides smoothly over the different contours of your face and removes unwanted hair on its way.
The blade is super thin, hypoallergenic, and has a round tip to ensure that your skin is protected against cuts and irritation.
The shaver comes with eyebrow-shaped combs that snap into place. It is slim and can easily be slid into your makeup set or the pocket of your bag. A single AA battery powers the shaver. Although this shaver works wonders for your face (meaning it doesn’t work down), it’s not without its flaws.
The biggest disadvantage of this small shaver is that you cannot buy replacement blades if yours get boring. You will have to purchase a whole new device.
- Fast and easy to use
- Slim design
- No replacement blades
Questions & Answers
Does it work on coarse facial hair? I have some on my chin. This hair is not peach fuzz.
It worked great on my chin. It was only a few attempts. But I got a smooth shave. I'm in my 70s and shaking my hand, but this is a really good buy
I have purchased two different shavers and they both pull the hair on my face and hurt. Does this one pinch and hurt?
I didn't think it hurt with facial hair. Now I also bought this to clean up my low hairline because I have short hair and the new growth is gray / white. Although it was very easy to use with the rotating head, there was some pulling in this area. I am satisfied with this product and the options for use and would recommend it.
Can the blades for this be ordered separately?
Wow. Replacement blade (only one blade, only the large one) costs about a dollar less than buying an all-new trimmer. Excellent.
Is there just one sized blade or are there two? (In the pictures it looks like there are two but I can't tell from the description)
Yes, this facial carer contains a knife specifically for facial hair and one for eyebrows.

I love the trimmer. However, when the razor becomes dull, you cannot just order the razor - you must purchase another complete trimmer. I bought two, but I'm looking for something else because I feel cheated not only to buy a replacement razor.
I used a finishing shaver for years. I have had it since I saw it in a commercial more than ten years ago. I think it took about 14 years before it finally died. I never even had to replace the blades. It just stopped running and cutting. So I bought 3 of these for myself and for my mother. The one I opened does not cut very well. You feel the hair pull more than cut and it leaves small red bumps on the skin. My old man never did that. It removes most of the hair, but it is uncomfortable to use and irritates the skin. My brother complained about a similar problem he had with a men's shaver. Is this how new shavers are made? Junky? I miss when products are made properly. I have always liked Panasonic as a brand, but this was so disappointing. My old shaver never irritated my skin and I could barely feel it during use. This is cheap and of low quality in comparison.
Really good for the soft hair on my face! It doesn't give me a shaving fire or irritation. SUPER gentle. It is my favorite type of exfoliation. And no, shaving does not make hair thicker or darker. However, this does not work on the thick hair on my chin, so unfortunately I cannot use it. This is A MILLION TIMES better than the "Finishing Touch Painless Hair Remover", which did not work at all and completely fell apart and broke when I tried to open the cap when I tried to use it the second time. I fully recommend this Panasonic, the value just can't be right.

I cannot find replacement blades for this on Amazon. Name or link please?
Amazon usually sells replacements. Sesrch by model number.

So I bought this thinking that it really wouldn't work for me. I have tried shavers in the past. Boy was I wrong. This is the best thing ever! It has changed my life 🙂 I love it. Thanks for all the reviews. I would not have tried this if not for the positive reviews.
Great shaver. Replaces older model. Gives a really smooth shave and is still soft and the charger has been redesigned. The shaver now looks safer on the charger. It is quiet and loves the ability to tidy up the blade for longer hair.
Pros: feels good in the hand Cuts well (although not super close) without grabbing skin or hair Electric shaver for the price of the camera: Battery does not seem to hold a charge. I can get a quick shave, but it SOUND as if it needs a load. Still cuts ... so far it has gone well. But I've only had it for a few months - I hope it will survive the summer. Gives no super smooth shave (I don't care so much)
First, it works on two AA batteries that you can get almost anywhere. The batteries have a working time of 45 minutes. Secondly, it is incredibly light and slim so that you can slip it into your makeup set, bag, or luggage when you travel outdoors. And third, it has a stainless steel blade, five trim settings, and a design guide to ensure that you can keep the exact hair length that you want down there. It is incredibly easy to use, even for a beginner.
However, contrary to what the manufacturer claims, this is not completely watertight. Also, the replacement blades are no longer available, so you have to buy a whole razor if the blades get boring.
- Easy to use
- A design guide + 5 trim settings
- Uses AA batteries
- Not waterproof
- Replacement blades are no longer available
Questions & Answers
Has anyone been able to order replacement blades? I have searched the Panasonic site & can't find blades. Probably cost as much as a new one though...
Paper that I have just received from mine says that they can be ordered online or over the phone, part no. for the knife assembly is WES246A1058, the price quoted is $ 10.50, but there was a note that prices are subject to change. are WES246A7398 for the comb attachment for $ 2.27, WES246A3128 for the battery cover for $ 1.70 and WES76806761 for the cleaning brush for $ 0.95 if anyone needs them. The model no. For the shaver is ES246AC.
Is this thing able to trim hair on the whole vulva? or is it only for the bikini line area? ( mainly interested in trimming my labia majora hairs )
Yes, the guard can cut the hair on the labia majora. I set it to the lowest setting without 'catching'.
Is it waterproof?
Is not waterproof, but my daughter makes mine wet and still works perfectly .. I have it for more than 3 years and I love it.
Can this be used in the shower?

Okay, funny story. While pruning my bikini line, I dropped this trimmer into my toilet and as a dummy my immediate reflex was to flush the toilet. Why?!? So my trimmer went through the toilet ... engine was buzzing all the time. The trimmer got stuck in a bend of the toilet pipe and the trimmer kept buzzing in my toilet for more than 45 minutes. The sound echoed through the floor. It was actually hilarious. We took the toilet off the floor, pulled the trimmer out and bolted the toilet back on. This trimmer continued to work after being immersed in toilet water for almost an hour. Now I have not used it anymore, but the fact that the power continued to work (and the trimmer engine was still super strong) closed the deal that this is the only trimmer I will ever buy. I quickly bought a new one and flushed it (not yet ...) through toilets! Love this trimmer so much.
Not to be graphic, this thing can clean up a rainforest. Let's just say that I had been au naturale for a while and that my intuition was not good for the job, so we had to offer some extra help. This baby has some strength in it. Do you understand.
I'm new to having a Bush. I kept myself completely exposed since I was about 13 years old. What changed was after I had recently given birth, I got very deep stretch marks in places where I didn't even realize that people could get stretch marks, grow my hair completely covered. It took me about 6 months to grow and I soon realized that it got completely out of control, beyond the point where an ordinary razor or wax could fix it. At first I used scissors to trim it, but that was pretty useless because it was difficult to get a somewhat uniform hair length. After reading the reviews of this trimmer I decided to give it a try. On my first attempt, I was able to cut the hair to a perfect length to keep the stretch marks hidden, and I was able to get some areas short enough to be able to wax part of the hair. I look so much tidier and now I feel much more confident. Before I didn't even want my husband to see it (it didn't bother him) because I was so embarrassed about how unused I looked, I didn't feel like myself at all. I am still used to having her, but the fact that I can tame it with this trimmer has helped me enormously. I am much happier with what it looks like now.
I've just finished this one for the first time, and I couldn't wait to get it back is to go to Amazon and write about how impressed I am. It's something that I wish I had bought one years ago.In essence, after several months of neglect, I have had a lot more hair down there and under my arms, and then I wanted to try to go in with a razor blade. It would take me at least an hour to set it up with a pair of scissors in the first one, and then get in the shower and then, well, it would have to run the hot water before I was done. So I came to Amazon to look for one. The reviews for all of them are so mixed you will never know what to trust to, but this one won me over. I didn't know that it was made in Japan until I get it (even though Panasonic is a Japanese company, you never know if the product has been made in the country or not, but right now I don't know, that's a statement on how amazing it is. In Japan, they don't have a culture of returning the goods. If you are buying a property, it is likely that it is going to work. If it doesn't work any more, you'll get it fixed, and it will continue to work with and you'll likely be dead before it does. To that end, I am so happy to have this one not only does what it's supposed to be, but it does it well, AND replacement blades are available when/if I need a new one.I have read a lot of reviews and I think people were expecting this to be completely smooth shave. It's not going to do that. It's just a trimmer, like the hair. If you want to shave your head, you will need to make use of the clippers, and then shave completely smooth. Otherwise, you're just a buzz cut. That is, it is what it is. If you want to be baby-bottom smooth, you will need to have in order to shave after you trim it. That being said, covering pretty dang close. I may or may not have to shave as 'barely there' is usually good enough.I have no problem with the use of the attachment, since I wanted to be as close a trim as possible, and even with all the hair I needed in order to manage it, and there was no more pain, no more popping, no pre-cut, with a pair of scissors is needed. It took me about 10 minutes to do both armpits, and my wife to share. After I was done, I used the brush that is included with a brush the hair off of the trimmer, then I would have popped out of the leaves, and brushed the hair from the inside out. Then I took a Clorox Wipe and just wiped the whole (well, that part isn't necessary, but it makes me feel better to do so).I just keep thinking about how much time this has saved me, and I'm so happy. It wasn't warm either. I can't imagine what you'd have to shave that, it is long enough for it to be hot because I most likely had an " infomercial-level of the ridiculous amount of hair to be cut, and it didn't warm up at all. The only complaint I have is that I wish there was a wrist strap, but I was a bit worried that I'd fall into the toilet. Also, it has about the same tone as the clippers used in a barber shop, so plan for something of that volume.Overall, I highly, highly recommend it!

Questions & Answers
Can it be used on face? I'm a male, and not really eager to pay 100+ bucks just for a separate face hair removal accessory.
You could, but it would be very difficult to use it around your mustache or upper lip. There are small clips on attachments that might make it a bit easier for you. You could try it, and if it doesn't work for what you want, send it back. It can also leave small red bumps over your face after use, due to facial oil, and it can break out. However, everyone is different.
Is this work international, I mean that can work with electricity 220V?
Yes it does. You only need the pen adapter for the respective country. I used it without problems in the 220V world.
Where can you get the right cord so it will work on 220 current (In Europe)?
If you buy an international power converter, it should work fine. I bought mine in a luggage room.
Can i clean my epilator using shower gel or it is unfriedly for the tweezers? How you clean your Silk epil 5?
You can rinse it with soap and water while it is disconnected! The tweezers are made of stainless steel, so just take the head off and place it under a jet of water. You still see some dirt / rubble hair / hair in it, use a sharp pointed thing, as a toothpick, or a used toothbrush to clean the head. I also don't think it would be bad if you used Chlorine, hydrochloric acid or other chemical cleaning agents that would dissolve the hair. But in my view a superficial cleaning is sufficient and if any hairs are still in the barill, this has no influence on the function of the device.

As far as I can tell, this epilator has exactly the same mechanism as the other Silk-épil 5 and 7 series models (the heads and fittings are fully interchangeable) - the only differences are that it has a slightly different body and naturally flows out AC power instead of a battery. I strongly prefer the latter function, because the battery on the other models is not replaceable and only lasts a maximum of 45 minutes. If you are very thorough or have thicker hair, you will quickly feel rushed. Of course, no battery means you can't use it wet, and to be honest I think that's fine, because the wet function is usually a gimmick. Aside from the fact that wet hair is weak and tends to break, epilation is a slow process compared to shaving, so you probably won't want to take a shower (which looks like it would be the main draw). As far as the pin functionality, as I said, it is exactly the same as the other Silk-épil 5 and 7 models. The parts inside are all plastic, which feels a bit cheap (you can really see how the gears are chewed when you look inside after a few months of use), and can (?) Contribute to the noise level. But otherwise it works fine. The head has the standard 40 tweezers and it supports a few different covers and attachments. Speaking of attachments, the shaving head is not great; it's clumsy and cheap and just doesn't shave well. In an emergency, you'll probably make it, but if you really need a shaver, buy a real one. I generally like it. It comes pretty close, it takes long enough for the price, and it has a light. The on / off switch on this model is annoying compared to some others, but it's not a big deal. Some general tips: - Depilation hurts first, especially in sensitive areas such as the armholes and bikini line, but you will get used to it after a while. I've been doing it for so long, I actually find it very relaxing, almost like a massage. I have never found a reason to use the low speed setting. If there is anything that makes me feel MORE hurts at low speed than at high values. - If the hair you are trying to epilate is long, trim it first. It will take longer and probably hurt more if you don't. Exfoliate before and / or after epilation. If you notice that you are falling apart (which should not normally happen), wash with soap and water and possibly use some astringent. - If you need lubrication, apply some baby powder or something similar. DO NOT use lotion, it will only make your skin sticky. Do not epilate on damp skin for the same reason. - Brush the hair often from the epilator. If you are lazy as I used to be, the hair will be pushed through the holes in the cavity below it and will clog the gears. You have to take it apart to clean it.
I had no idea if an Epilator would work for me and read so many reviews before I went to buy it. After a year of use, here's my feedback to help you decide if this is for you. - I would buy this again. - It does NOT stop hair growth. It softens the hair so it is lighter and cannot be seen; it is also softer and you have no stubble.- I use it once a week on my lower leg and under the arms. Slowly moving towards my my thighs, but there is pain. The first 2-3 times it hurt a lot, but it no longer hurts. Note: armpits hurt terribly the first few times to the point that I didn't use it. Huge tip: make sure your armpits are waxed; then use the epilator because it grows sporadically so that you do not tear so many hairs away at the same time. It really doesn't hurt anymore and I only use it once a week and I am practically free from hair / stubble.- Do not waste your money on the wet.- I use the non-epilator / shaving area on my lower arms and it works great . hope this helps you decide!
Older model, but I like it. Especially as a first time kit. If this epilates your first time, yes, it hurts. There will be pain, tears, maybe some blood. You swear by words that you didn't know you knew, and look like a plucked chicken after all your hard work and you might still feel a bit of stubble .. BUT I don't think a device can make that better when we ' talk again about ripping her from the roots with a swirling barrel of tweezers. If you are old enough, just take a shot of Sailor Jerry. Discard baby powder on the area that you are epilating and go for it. Have some coconut oil and aloe vera gel to hand to calm the skin when you're done. Witch hazel to keep him clean later. You will heal very well. The more regularly you do it, the smoother you will be and the less it will hurt. The cold gel pack that is included is great. You can cut your hair with the trimmer. If you get used to epilation, you can swap the massage head for faster efficiency. It is super easy to clean and I am happy that I went this route instead of being waxed, because I find tbh smoky, hot and uncomfortable waxing. If waxing is not for you and you are tired of shaving, give this a chance.

If a shaver + trimmer is not enough for you, the Panasonic ES-ED50-N multifunctional wet/dry shaver and the epilator can have that extra that will satisfy you. This is not just an electric shaver and an epilator for damp and dry situations. This device can also be converted into a bikini trimmer.
What this means is that you get three different razors for a reasonable price. And you can store valuable real estate at your counter.
So this multifunctional shaver comes with four click heads/attachments and has a powerful two-speed motor for efficient hair removal the way you choose.
The four attachments are the shaving head with a pop-up trimmer, the preformed bikini comb, an epilating head with two discs with 48 rotating tweezers, and a soft epilator cap.
The epilating head, incidentally, tilts 30 degrees forward and 30 degrees back, making it easy to adjust to the contours of your body while you slide it over your skin. All four attachments are 100% washable.
And there’s even a built-in LED to show you how much hair you’re missing. The charging time is 1 hour, so that you can use the device for 30 minutes. Now, the defects. The epilator is effective as long as you do not use it in difficult places. It is not as painful as the expensive epilators, but it can be quite uncomfortable, especially if you are not used to it. The built-in light also becomes hot quickly.
- 3-in-1 electric shaver
- 100% washable
- Built-in LED light
- Epilator is not as effective in tricky corners
- Can be painful for some
- LED light gets hot quickly
Questions & Answers
Is this something that could replace a razor? Does it give the same smooth feeling on your legs, or wherever you use it?
I asked my wife that she said that this machine is very smooth and faster than a razor she stopped using razors
So is this just an epilator that can be used on wet or dry skin, OR is it an epilator on dry skin, with a razor attachment for wet? I'm confused.
The epilator can be used wet or dry, as well as the shaving head attachment according to the instructions.
Is it possible to buy replacement parts.... I need a new foot care/pumice head.?
Yes. You can then find it on the panasonic website. Panasonic> personal care> beauty. Click on the exact same product and you will see accessories at the bottom of the page
Can you use this epilator while its plugged in?
No, it can only be used if it is not connected, but it does charge for an hour.

I have used the Philips and the Braun and this is by far the best epilator I have ever used! If you think this means it doesn't hurt, you are in for a big surprise. If this is the first time you are epilating, you will be very spoiled because this is your first, but you must ensure that you can tolerate the uncomfortable feeling of pulling your hair from the root. If you can't handle laundry, you'll hate this. This unit has been most successful for multiple types of hair. I have fine baby hairs, wire hairs and thick chest hairs. And on my legs, I feel that my hair sometimes grows in some random directions. With other units, this would cause the thicker hairs to be just cut rather than pulled or ignored. This device ignores or doesn't mind if I change the head rotation. The head turns, which is great for curved parts. I have used it everywhere where the hair grows (except my head, and I mean everywhere!). Some advice for beginners ... 1) if you order this today, you are going to shave now, so that when you arrive you'll have 2 days of growth. 2) exfoliate exfoliate exfoliate 3) moisuturize 4) when it arrives for use, use a brush or loofah and brush the hair and remove the dead skin. 5) take a shower and get really hot (pores open and let the hair slide out more easily, the warmer you are) 6) take shower gel and place it on the epilator 7) start epilation - pretend it is is a shaver. It will hurt a bit first, and if you have a pulsating shower head, let it pulsate in the area that you are epilating (it almost numbs) 8) don't think you will get all the hair for a moment the very first time set a timer in for 5 minutes and stop. (Approximately 1-2 passes). You should have a light hand - don't press hard and go about 1-2 centimeters per second. 9) if you are sensitive to ingrown hairs, or rarely exfoliate or hydrate, get some witch hazel or salycyliclic acid toner (I only get the clean and clear toner for this) and go over what are you with what is epilated. 10) Congratulate yourself and repeat every shower for a week. After a week you will be surprised. I epilate once or twice a week, but it only takes 5 minutes. If you let it grow more than 1/8 inch, you have to start all over again :(.
For everyone who complains about this product because it is 'painful', what did you expect? Take tweezers and start plucking the hair on your legs, it does not feel good of course, now imagine that 20 of those hairs are pulled out at the same time and this is how it feels to use an epilator. The 'soft head' is a must, not because it is gentle, this is slightly cheating, but because it is not as painful as using the normal attachment. I have fair skin and a mix of light / dark hair, I have noticed that the thin thin hair is not pulled out as effectively as the darker, thicker hair, but it tends to work a little better when the hair is roughly 5 . mm long and I use the slower of the two settings. Yes, the first time will be the worst, but if you can drop a few glasses of wine in advance and make it difficult, it's worth it. My legs were very bumpy and irritated for a day or two after the first use, but I didn't have to use it again for a few weeks, which was great, given that I would get stubble on the same day if I shave. Every time it has become a little less painful, I have probably used it 6 times in the last 4 or 5 months. At that time I shaved only a handful of times, just because I forgot the epilator because the hair has now become so slow and soft and it is extremely painful to epilate long hairs. The directions say not to use on your thighs and knees, because that skin is more sensitive and may get stuck in the tweezers, it is slightly more sensitive than lower legs, but I never caught the skin. I once tried to use my armpits and bikini, I would not recommend this. Ever. Really. It hurt. To the point that I was bleeding, and I was sitting there with tissues shoved under my arms and on my lady pieces. I can handle the daily shaving of those parts easily enough. Generally I love how smooth my legs are now, it's the kind of smooth that I could never get with a razor. My friend doesn't even notice that it was weeks ago that I had epilated because the hair is just as soft and fine as it grows back, unlike when I used a razor and he accused me of not having to shave for a week , when it had actually been a day. I am excited to see how much thinner my hair will become over time, and hopefully how much less painful it will become. It is already a huge improvement on the first time I used this, but I have high expectations with such great results in so little time! * This photo is 3 days after epilating my legs and still no hair in sight! "*

This rotary shaver is unusual, but that’s great. The handle is easy to hold in the palm of your hand. It makes shaving parts of the body much easier. It can be used on the back of the thighs without straining your upper body.
There are 5 cups on this rotary shaver. Each of the heads will move and adjust to your curves. The back of the thighs, the end of the knees, or the sliders that lead to your bikini line will all benefit from this rotary shaver. Each shaving head has three scissors. It is perfect for sensitive skin.
The shaver has a rechargeable battery that can be fully charged after 2 ½ hours. That time gives you 90 minutes of shaving. That is enough time to get all the areas you want to shave.
This shaver is perfect for beginners who are suggested to shave. Young girls can be intimidated by foil shavers that require a certain up and down movement to cut well. They can also be too young for a safety razor.
The butterfly shaver can be great for the backs of the thighs and the back of the knees. It is not always easy to see those areas while you are in the middle of shaving. The Butterfly shaver does not require you to see what you are doing while shaving.
- Unique design
- Easy to use in difficult places
- Does not irritate sensitive skin
- Not for small hands
- You must do more than one pass

Wife and daughter came together and ordered this for me, and said it looked like a "Brain". OK, I've heard all the jokes about that. HOWEVER, I am here to tell you that this little brain shaves the head easily and quickly and not blood like I do with the blade because it's put on blood thinners. Quick to charge, easy and comfortable to use, for something that looks like it should be used on the legs of women or daughters, it works just as well on a round head. I highly recommend this shaver to anyone who wants to keep that 'Slick' look on their head and / or needs a little 'brains' from time to time

I LOVE THIS RAZOR - BEST PURCHASE !! I wish I had found it earlier. I have always been able to shave my legs, but gradually my skin has become more and more sensitive and now shaving gives me super itchy legs, as if I want to tear my legs from itching. Well, I started to look like a scary creature from the Amazon until I gathered the power to shave again, knowing that I have unbearable itch. Then I found this Butterfly Pro, it's great !!! I can shave my legs super fast, it gives me a fairly smooth shave. It's not perfect like a wet razor, but pretty damn close. I am super impressed and super happy !! And it doesn't irritate my skin !! 🙂
I recently started shaving my head after long hair for the past 10 years. I was looking for a shaver that would shorten the time needed to shave my head down. This shaver does a decent job, although I have to make several steps to shave properly because of the thickness of my hair. I think it works better if I use a light layer of shaving cream. This makes the shaver slide nicely over my scalp. I chose this shaver because of the price of man, I cannot see that there would be much difference in the performance of the shaver, because they both do the same job. I think the only criticism I have is that the RPMs can be larger, but that is perhaps how it is designed so that you don't get a razor fire. All in all I am satisfied with the performance so far. I can update this at a later date to let you know how it went after a few months.

Questions & Answers
Does the charging base sit on the countertop while in use, or does it have to be plugged directly into the wall outlet for charging?
The charging station is located on the counter and has a plug on a cord that goes to a power outlet. The shaver is in the charger. I know what you mean because I have another shaver that needs to be on a charger near the power outlet.
How long does the battery last after fully charged? for me it only last like 20 minutes
Mine lasted a few hours
Does it take a while to actually start working? I used a foil razor before and it didn't really work for a while
Based on my experience with Remington products, I previously had an older model and it stayed with me for about 5 years. That's why I bought this item. I think that this long period is sufficient to recognize the good quality of a product. so far I have no complaints at all!
Does base for recharging WDF4840 come with the shaver?
Yes, the product comes with a charging base.

I have been using this shaver for 6 months and it works great. Do I get a smooth shave near the razer? No ... it's not a razer but a shaver. That means that I get a nice smooth shave without cutting my legs or getting ingrown hairs! I use the shaver dry every few minutes for about a minute (after showering, legs are clean) and I'm good to go. It has a long loading time, is lightweight and a great price.
Everything irritates my skin and gives me razor rashes, but that is not the case. You really have to go a few times to get a smooth cut, but that's not really the point of using electric shavers, they never get your skin completely smooth. It's great for when I don't have time to shower and shave, just to get rid of the visible hair and to come my way without irritation.
If you want something small and portable for emergency shaves, then you should check out the Remington WSF4810. Although small, this is a full-size foil shaver with double trimmers, a curved head, and hypoallergenic foils. It can be used in wet and dry environments, is fully waterproof, and works with 2 AA batteries (available separately).
The ergonomic design ensures that it fits comfortably in hand, while the hanging loop allows you to keep it within reach in your area.
This small shaver can easily be thrown in a suitcase for trips outside the city. It offers insufficient shave for your legs, but it works beautifully on your armpits.
This model is also great for daughters who are just starting to learn the art of shaving. However, it is not ideal for people with coarse hair or for trimming your bush underneath.
- Very affordable
- Good training razor for girls
- No smooth shaving result
- Not for coarse hair
- Not for shaving the bikini line
Questions & Answers
What does "foil shaver" mean?
I think it means the perforated covering of the blades. The hair must go through a hole and the blade behind the foil then cuts it. Unlike the electric shavers with those 3 circular thingamajigs on them, they pinch the hair a bit, which in my opinion cuts more smoothly. I hope this helps.
My battery compartment doesn't open. Only see line where it should open on the sides and back. Should it have a line on the colored area in the front?
Hold the shaver with the rear side facing you, knife up, turn the ring on the bottom (where the hanging cord is attached) 90 degrees clockwise and then pull the lower part down and away so that you can access gets to the battery compartment.
Mine worked good bt now it's slowed its speed and stop working during its use even with new batteries ...suggestion ??
Sorry I said ... my mother did the same. The Clio brand is much better!
What type of batteries? They don't seem to be in the package.:(
Two "AAA" batteries

I bought this shaver for my almost 11 year old daughter and it was great and easy for her to use. It is powerful and works well. To add to my recommendation, the design is super cute and the unit is compact enough to fit discreetly in her toilet bag when going on overnight stays or sleeping. I'm not ready to use razors with sharp blades yet, so this was a perfect compromise. If you are looking for a discreet shaver for yourself or a first razor for your teenager, this is it!
My first shaver was a Panasonic, a rechargeable electric shaver that eventually died. I went back to normal shavers that bit me a bit. I even tried Nair cream for a while, which irritated my sensitive skin to the bone. Then I went back to an electric shaver and found this in my drugstore (this is my third since I tend to replace electric shavers every few years or so). Although it is not the closest shave, I feel and notice a difference in the amount of hair that remains (legs, arms, armpits, etc.). It is also a painless, fast process and I love how the shaver is travel friendly. Would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a decent shaver and something that is quick and easy to use. However, I will say that if you have sensitive skin and your skin itches after shaving, try an anti-itch anti-itch before shaving. It helped me.
I love this thing so much! If you are in a hurry or if you don't want to shave your armpits / your hair on your armpits is too short to shave, this thing is perfect, I wear tank tops every day to work, so I always make sure my forearms are well shaved and this has saved me so many shaving burns. You can also use it on your bikini line, legs and arms! It is super easy to clean and I have taken it on multiple planes! Very happy with this purchase, I actually received the same from my colleague!
Super cute / colorful and easy to hold! My tweenage daughter likes it as her first shaver. She is autistic and did not feel comfortable giving her a razor with her distractability and sensory problems. We had her exercise just the shaver sliding back and forth under her pits and even to be finished, it still shaved her hair off! The battery will save even better; )
Our number two is a powerhouse that also serves as a callus remover and hair clipper. It is the Co dream 4-in-1 rechargeable electric epilator, Lady Shaver, callus remover pumice rolls and hair clipper for exfoliating dead skin and safe hair removal for women or men, and this is why we like it:
It contains an epilator head, a shaving head, a pumice head and a hair clipper that you can use to make your entire body smooth and hair-free.
Rechargeable, wireless design is easy to use.
Delivers supple, spa-worthy feet with pumice rolls.
- The battery only has about 20 minutes of charging time.
- The Epilator holder has 15 blades on the low side for an epilator.
- The instructions do not say this, but the callus remover works best when you use it on wet feet so that the skin is soft when you start.
If you want the space-saving option for a four-in-one tool, you really can’t go wrong with this model.

Tips For Using An Electric Shaver
Electric shavers for women Reviews Whether you are new to using an electric shaver or are just looking for some tips for more effective shaving, you’ve come to the right place! It is not that hard to get the hang of it, so don’t worry. Just follow a few simple steps, and you’ll be driving solo in no time. Here are some tips for using an electric shaver:
- First of all, you need to purchase the perfect electric shaver for you. As you may have seen, there is a wide range of choices and lots of diversity on the market. So do your research, view our top list, and choose the one that fits your needs and budget.
- Always read the manual. All shavers work differently. Some may require batteries, and other wireless models have a different duration. So get to know yours before you use it.
- Once you know how your gizmo works, you are ready to start shaving. We recommend using your shaver in the shower if it is watertight. The hair is washed away in the rain, and you clear the way to see what you are doing better. Also, moisture makes it easier for the blades to cut.
- Scrub your skin in advance. That way, you don’t shave through a layer of dead skin cells instead of your hair.
- Some recommend using a shaving gel or cream with an electric shaver, although this is not necessary for everyone, check and follow the steps accordingly.
- Apply the shaver to the areas you want to remove. Each area must be treated slightly differently. Whether you use facial hair, armpits, legs, or bikini lines, lightly apply the head and usually move the blade vertically up and down until the hair is clear.
- Repeat this one body part at a time until the results satisfy you. You are currently free of hair for up to 2 weeks. Congratulations!
- Remember that the most important thing is that you have the right machine for your hair needs. If it is not recommended for coarse hair, do not try the shaver for your pubic area. If you buy a cheap model, don’t be surprised if the results last a long time or are generally poor. So, as long as you get a good quality machine that meets your needs, its use should be relatively easy. You also get the hang of it quickly. Remember that if yours is wireless, it is best to start a loading routine to ensure that it is always ready when you are.
FAQ About Electric Shaver For Women
Disposable razors are great. Use them a few times and throw them; they are the ultimate temporary measure. However, that is the problem. They are intended for the limited use so that they get boring quickly. Electric shavers are more built for the long term. As such, they tend to have a higher quality level. Many electric shavers come with extra attachments for trimming or shaving delicate areas. Although the final choice is yours, you can save money in the long run by investing in a high-quality electric shaver. Most top quality electric shavers on the market for women are suitable for both wet and dry use. Although dry shaving seems much faster and more practical, is this the better choice? Generally not. An enormous dry shaving step is missing in the preparation step compared to wet shaving, and this step is essential for your long-term health. First of all, if you shave dry, you cut your skin. Wet shaving makes your skin moist beforehand. This leads to the opening of pores on your skin and softening, making the electric shaver glide smoothly. Dry shaving, on the other hand, is applied to dry skin that is very open to cuts, shaving burns and bumps. The stabbing sensation and the burning sensation that follows are often the results of dry shaving. These are the shouts of your shredded skin. The only way to get rid of these sensations is to hydrate the skin. However, if you had done the moisturizing process in advance, for example, as preparation for wet shaving, you would probably not have experienced these unpleasant sensations. Products such as shaving creams and gels for wet shaving lubricate the skin and thus minimize the risk of all these consequences. They prepare the base of your skin for the razor so that it glides smoothly on your lubricated skin surface. With dry shaving, you do not have such a significant advantage. In summary: we always recommend wet and dry shaving, especially if you have sensitive skin. If your skin is not easily irritated and you have coarse hair, you can occasionally shave dry. However, remember that wet shaving always treats your skin softer and better. If you want to avoid cuts, cuts, and shaving burns altogether, consider using permanent hair removal creams. They are the safest when it comes to damaging your skin. People with sensitive skin know the pain (literally) of trying to choose the right razor. That is another voice for electric shaving. They almost always have surgical stainless steel blades to reduce sensitivity. They also tend to have a high degree of flexibility so that you do not constantly sand the skin while navigating troubled areas. Recheck the reviews if you have sensitive skin and want to shave your bikini line. (We can hear you shudder here. We’ve been there … a rough shave in the bikini line can make you uncomfortable for days.) Choose the softest electric shaver with a smooth shave with the first wipe, so you don’t have to shave again in the same area to shave. The answer is yes, and they can. However, it is unlikely that women will achieve as effective results with a male shaver as with an electric shaver for women. Many women assume that electric razors are sharper and better for men than men because men tend to have coarser hair. However, the difference in shavers for two sexes, and the reason why a woman does not shave efficiently with a man’s razor is not sharp. It’s all about the head, the rotation, the shape of the handle, and how it fits the contours of the skin. The reason mainly depends on the difference between the textures of the skin and the hair of the skin and the hair of men and women. Men usually have less sensitive skin and much coarser hair than women. Women generally have softer skin and thinner hair. So while men need a much closer shave, women don’t. The reason is that such a smooth shave is likely to irritate their skin and not eliminate thin hair, especially the peach. Such as the armpits and the bikini line. Some of them even come with pop-up bikini trimmers to shorten the hair on the bikini line in preparation for shaving. Of course, you can always consider buying a bikini trimmer and shaver that are specially designed to care for pubic hair. It is unlikely that you will get one of these functions with an electric men’s shaver. Moreover, most electric shavers are more expensive for men than for women. We, therefore, do not recommend that women use electric shavers for men. Of course, they can get good results if their skin is not sensitive, and if they have thick and coarse hair. However, why gamble if you already have the device for your gender?
