Why Does Your Breath Smell Bad?
Bad breath is usually caused by poor oral hygiene, which most people think they can be solved by brushing regularly. But contrary to what is often thought, brushing is not the only way to keep your teeth clean.
Research shows that it is mainly due to the lack of dental care that people suffer from bad breath.
Research also shows that about one in four people has bad breath (halitosis).
Usually, the most common cause of bad breath is due to poor oral hygiene. Although there are many other factors that a person must take into account.
- Sometimes you have to take medication because of an illness, these medicines can be the cause of bad breath.
- Smoking and/or drinking are also causes of bad breath.
- Persistent bad breath can also be a sign of gum disease.
- Eating foods that contain onion and/or garlic can also cause bad breath.
- Dry Mouth: If you have an extremely dry mouth, you don’t have saliva to wash away excess bacteria or food particles in your mouth. That bacterium causes bad breath.
- Morning Breath: When you sleep, your body produces less saliva, which means there is nothing to wash away the bacteria in your mouth.
- Infections are an easy target for bacteria to collect. If you have a wound in your mouth or have undergone dental surgery, try to get antibiotics to prevent infection.
Now there are several answers to this question, but it is mainly due to poor oral hygiene that people suffer from bad breath.
What we need to understand is that fast mouthwash is not the solution to bad breath; this depends on the food you eat, the forms of oral hygiene and the regularity of use.
How to Get Rid of Bad Breath (Halitosis)?
If you need a quick fix for your bad breath, there are a few things you can do.
Biting a fresh apple or other raw fruit can refresh your breath if you cannot reach your toothbrush. If you have some sugar-free chewing gum, put something in your mouth for a quick refreshment.
Gum also helps you to produce more saliva so that your body can wash away those bad breath-causing bacteria. Water can do the same as saliva and is a quick cure for morning breath.
Other ways to prevent bad breath in the long term are to invest in your oral hygiene routine. By improving your oral hygiene, you will stay one step ahead of bad breath.
Be consistent in your daily oral hygiene and you don’t have to worry about halitosis.
Your daily oral hygiene routine should include an electric toothbrush and a good brand of toothpaste.
An electric toothbrush performs better than traditional toothbrushes. They reach places where normal toothbrushes are not and more effective at removing plaque.
Some even come with 2-minute timers, so you can brush the right amount of time every time.
The toothpaste you choose is also extremely important. There are so many choices to choose from and you want to choose one that focuses on your problems.
The best to choose is one that focuses on the bacteria that cause plaque due to bad breath will disappear.
Things To Consider When Buying Toothpaste For Bad Breath
It is only logical that you are looking for a toothpaste that repels bacteria, but there are other factors to consider when shopping for things that help keep your halitosis at bay.
read these important factors so that you know what to look out for in the perfect paste for your pearly whites.
Ingredients Of Toothpaste
The ingredients of your toothpaste are important.
By far the most important ingredient to look for is sodium fluoride.
Sodium fluoride is a difficult aid in combating bad breath. It can kill bacteria that develop into plaque before it gets the chance to cover your mouth. You can even find sodium fluoride with natural ingredients, including essential oils, zinc, and Dead Sea salt, which can even help whiten teeth.
Plaque is caused by bacteria that heal and develop on the surface of your teeth.
So getting rid of these bacteria before they get the chance to become a plaque is one of the primary goals of any good toothpaste product.
You can use sodium fluoride in many natural components and some natural toothpaste.
Stannous is another sodium-like ingredient that you come across with certain toothpaste budget brands.
For men with sensitive teeth, activated carbon is an excellent replacement that provides excellent antibacterial help without breaking your teeth. irritate.
Another essential ingredient to view is triclosan.
Triclosan has proven germicidal properties and is effective in combating gum disease. It is an antibacterial agent that speaks to your mouth for a long time and at the same time prevents plaque and gingivitis.
But triclosan also has its critics, because research shows that hormone regulation in animals changes and when used in soap and body cleansing can contribute to the development of antibiotic-resistant germs.
This medicine is very effective in killing bacteria and can help your gums stay healthy if you are particularly sensitive to gum disease.
Moreover, too many triclosan hormone levels change in some people.
In general, triclosan is useful but not necessary unless you are prone to gingivitis.
Sodium bicarbonate and calcium bicarbonate are both great ingredients for combating bad breath.
These are effective deodorizers that can help remove a bad odor from your mouth.
Because it removes bad breath depends on the removal of bacteria as a whole and direct deodorization, toothpaste with one of these two ingredients (or both) will be particularly effective in ensuring that your breath is as fresh as possible is.
In general, toothpaste that can help you with bad breath should excel in getting rid of as many bacteria and plaque as possible.
Taste Of Toothpaste For Bad Breath
You have to buy toothpaste with a taste that you can appreciate or at least tolerate.
After all, you put the stuff in your mouth twice a day if you follow the recommended dental advice.
Most toothpaste has a mint flavor and is meant to make your mouth fresh after every use.
You should also avoid toothpaste that has an extremely fruity or sweet taste.
This type of toothpaste often has ingredients that are simply not needed for a good dental care product and can even aggravate tooth sensitivity problems, especially if you already have a few holes.
Here are your choices for the best toothpaste for bad breath.

The TheraBreath Fresh Breath toothpaste not only attacks bacteria and bacteria that cause bad breath but is also good for your overall oral hygiene.
It works to prevent cavities and reduce tartar and is safe enough for children.
Toothpaste from TheraBreath also contains aloe vera, which seems a strange ingredient to toothpaste, but it helps calm your mouth and gums, while the other ingredients regulate plaque, tartar, and holes.
Among the many other natural ingredients are vegetable glycerin, vitamin C, green mint oil and Mentha arvensis leaf oil. The Fresh Breath toothpaste has a mild mint flavor that is pleasant but not overwhelming and comes in a pack of two 4-ounce tubes.

Questions & Answers
Can I purschase the non flouride version of this toothpaste via the amazon store? I do not see an option for it.
Yes, at the top of the page
Does the TheraBreath non-fluoride toothpaste work as well as the regular with fluoride toothpaste to eliminate bad breath and tonsil stones?
I used it in combination with the TheraBreath oral rinse and had great results.
How long does a tube of toothpaste last for?
Hello - I didn't really like the consistency of this toothpaste, my teeth didn't feel clean, even when using a Sonicare.
I saw on the box to put the tooth paste on a dry toothbrush.. Does it have to be dry? The tube doesn't say dry, it just says toothbrush.
Yes, that is what is on the box and it is recommended. It may seem strange, but it works well for me. The reason why you do not want to wet your toothbrush beforehand is because you do not want the tap water to disrupt the toothpaste and the way it works with your mouth and saliva. Once you've tried it, you'll find that the toothpaste is 'wet' enough and doesn't dry out your mouth. I recommend trying the size of the travel set by ordering it directly from the Therabreath website. I had to try the trip first before I was convinced that I had to do that with a normal sized two-pack (4 oz) toothpaste.
Well, I hate to say this, but my husband's breath was dead. I saw people stepping back while he was talking. Driving in the car? Never mind. All windows were down. After visiting the dentist to make sure there was nothing dead in his mouth, I bought it for him. I love him and felt bad, but this works. I can no longer smell the rotten breath. Thank you!!!!! Postscript He also uses mouthwash!
OMGosh! This and the TheraBreath Mouth Wash absolutely work! Bad breath was a constant companion as an allergy to all seasons. This sounds old-fashioned, but people no longer shrink or cover their mouth / nose unobtrusively when they talk to me. It is a must to use both toothpaste and mouthwash together. I'm addicted in a good way! It has really changed my life and my \\ good breath \\ confidence !!!
I don't think I have a strong case of halitosis, but I can easily get bad breath. My husband says that this worked pretty well. This formula has to get used to because it does not foam like the traditional toothpaste. It can be confusing because it mixes with my saliva and I can hardly tell if it reaches every corner ... but apparently it is, my teeth are clean and my breathing is good: D Pity is so expensive, but I keep using it because it clearly more effective than my normal Colgate.
I have been a fan of Therabreath, because I used mouthwash before. Now I had the opportunity to use the toothpaste. My mouth thanks this toothpaste. When all natural ingredients are used to treat good oral health for your mouth, you can see. I know that I probably will never have the chance to use a basic toothpaste because I have become acquainted with Therabreaths toothpaste. I love that my teeth really feel clean, I hear them squeak as I rub my finger against the enamel. My mouth smells fresh and the use of this toothpaste with my tongue cleaner, let me tell you !!! This is the best and I mean the best toothpaste!
Looking for an antiseptic and remineralizing toothpaste that refreshes your bad breath and strengthens your sensitive gums? Great, because Charcoal Teeth Whitening Toothpaste has it all.
Completely without fluorine, unlike most other tooth whitening solutions, this toothpaste contains active natural ingredients that are very effective in combating bad breath.
The basis of the product is coconut powder that removes stains from coffee, smoke, wine and tea from your teeth.
Coconut oil has many advantages and as part of toothpaste, it fights cavities, removes plaque and bacteria and prevents gingivitis.
The main culprit for getting rid of bad breath is the refreshing and long-lasting peppermint oil. Baking soda is another ingredient that gently pushes your mouth for a natural detox.
You can be confident that this product promotes the health of your gums without removing the enamel from your teeth.
- Organically activated coconut oil charcoal powder whitens teeth
- Natural peppermint oil removes bacteria from the mouth
- Strengthens sensitive gums and eliminates bad breath
- Suitable for vegans
- Completely fluorine-free
- The aftertaste is a bit bitter
- A bit too expensive for the pipe size
Questions & Answers
Has it actually whitened any ones teeth ?
Yes, I see a huge difference since I started using it 3 weeks ago. It says use it twice a day and I do.
So please explain to me how do you use it exactly because all I want to do is use it for my teeth?
How to whiten your teeth: 1. Wet your toothbrush and immerse it in the active carbon powder. Brush for 2 minutes in small, soft circles. Spit carefully and rinse well. Continue with a second brush with your regular toothpaste. You can see a difference within 1-2 weeks. If this is not the case and especially for dark spots, give it a little longer. Use as often as needed. Hope that helps!
Is the stuff very gritty?
No, it's smooth like regular toothpaste. Remember that you must also continue to use toothpaste that contains fluoride. This does not completely clean your teeth like regular toothpaste. I consulted about it with my dentist, and that was what she told me to do, use both.
How many oz is this container? One picture shows 32oz and another shows 10oz.
The volume of the container is 32oz and it is full to the top. And the net weight of the product is 10oz.
So I originally bought this after I told a 5-year-old how yellow my teeth were .... I'm a heavy smoker, but I brushed my teeth every day with that Crest whitening toothpaste. I knew my teeth weren't perfectly white, but I knew they weren't some ugly shade of yellow. So as an impulse purchase I bought some charcoal toothpaste ... I took my previous photos, eagerly waiting for that perfect white smile. I have not seen results after a few days or a week, as some reviews have claimed. It took almost 3 months before I saw that beautiful commercial commercial white. So I finally took my after-photo today.
You didn't trust this, so I didn't take a previous photo, but I'm so happy with the results! Someone at work even asked me about my new whiter teeth
If I could give more stars, I would! I have viewed this product several times because I thought it was too good to be true, but I thought I would give it a try, and WOW. this is after only 3 days !!! And the best part is NO sensitivity, much cheaper than whitestrips or trays, and it's so quick and easy; I do nothing else in my normal routine, just brushing with a different toothpaste.
This toothpaste is a fairly well-known type that comes with a number of extra breath-refreshing strips to improve the price-quality ratio.
In the beginning, it is super affordable and every tube comes with so much pasta that you probably don’t have to buy anything for quite some time.
Each tube has a paste formula that does three important things: cleans makes white and refreshed, all at the same time.
The cleaning is achieved thanks to the inclusion of sodium fluoride in each paste, which we said was excellent for combating bacteria and preventing cavitation.
The paste is also pretty good at bleaching your teeth by preventing coffee or tea residue from getting stuck on the surface of your teeth.
Although it does not remove stains that are already there, this extra benefit is still useful.
These strips cover bad breath with a heavy odor of their own and replace annoying breath with minty freshness.
That’s a bit generic, but we can’t really complain if it’s a new solution to a widespread problem.
The taste is also not a super sharp mint.
Instead, it’s a rather tasty peppermint that won’t overwhelm your taste buds. or your mouth is not full or (sticky.) Let it feel.
- Good taste
- Excellent properties
- Comics are not essential
Questions & Answers
Is this product a paste or a gel ?
Never used. Excellent brand but I use Dr. Bronner.
Do the tubes have screw-on lids?
No, a pop top. Tilt front upwards
Does this product work?
It does! This is my favorite toothpaste of all time. I am very picky and prefer a toothpaste that is as clean as possible. I need my breath to always smell like mint. Strongly recommend.
What are the breath strips made out of? Are they microplastic? Are they biodegradable?
At the end of 2014, Colgate no longer has microbeads in our products. The breath strips in this product are made from methyl cellulose gum in a special process and contain menthol as a flavoring agent.
This is my favorite toothpaste. It tastes pleasant and fresh and results in good reports from my dentist and hygienist. I haven't had a hole in years. These tubes are quite large and compete favorably with the prices of department stores. I appreciate the extra ease that they appear at my door.
Good toothpaste Works well, does not taste bad
I prefer toothpaste from the Colgate brand. This is one of the different types of toothpaste that I like about Colgate. Good value for money here.
My family and I have used Colgate products in the past and have always enjoyed the taste and cleaning / whitening results, my family and I have received this wonderful toothpaste and will continue to do so. I will buy this toothpaste again for great results and also a great selling price!
This pH-balanced fluoride-based toothpaste from CloSYS is one of the leaders when it comes to effective toothpaste to remove bad breath. Although it is both alcohol and sulfate-free, it uses a small amount of sodium fluoride hybrid that kills 99% of the bacteria in your mouth. Polish the time recommended by dentists to make this toothpaste effective – 2 minutes each.
chemical cleaner found in some more popular toothpaste. Even if you have had crowns, veneer, bridging or other expensive dental operations in the past, the gentle cleansing formula can be of great use.
You should also not experience any coloration with prolonged use.
Although this article focuses on the toothpaste that helps to get rid of bad breath (what it does), given the relatively mild ingredients – it should also serve both men and women everywhere with sensitive teeth.
That is why it is an excellent pasta to share with family members.
- pH-balanced toothpaste
- Great for people with sensitive teeth
- Does not stain
- Some users say that the tube is difficult to process
Questions & Answers
Does this contain SLS?
There is no sulfate on the package. The paste does not foam when used, so it must not contain SLS.
What are the ingredients on the toothpaste?
Ingredients have recently changed without notice. These are the new: water, hydrated silica, stabilized chlorine dioxide, sodium lauroyl sarcosinate, disodium hydrogen phosphate, cellulose gum, titanium dioxide, peppermint oil, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, sucralose, menthol crystals
The product page ("Information - Ingredients") says this is a fluoride toothpaste?
NO it is not a fluoride toothpaste. It is a toothpaste originally formulated by a world-renowned periodontist in Scottsdale, AZ
need a toothpaste that will not burn tongue or mouth..very sensitive...is this mild no strong minty flavors?
It is mild, but still has a minty taste. I have been using it for 4 years now and prefer it to one of the other sensitive toothpastes. I also use the mouthwash and it is not flavored, but comes with a flavor package to season the mint.
BEST toothpaste in the world! I can say that from a professional point of view because I have been a dental hygienist since 1984 and have been using these products since the early 1990s. The inventor of this product was the doctor who wrote my \\ periodontal \\ college book. I have used this in clinical practice for decades and have seen miraculous improvements in the periodontal state of my patient. It's because of the compound, chlorine dioxide, in the product, but I'm not going into a detailed explanation ... believe me and try this product. Do not accept the hype that dentists promote with everyone the other big name brands and especially ... Listerine (that name makes my skin crawl) All those companies go to dental offices and give them samples to \\ push their patients. They hold competitions to see who can do the most promotions ... it's all about money, not YOUR periodontal health. I was actually fired from a prestigious NYC office because I would not adhere to the \product policy\ of their practice! I have been recommending CloSys products since I saw the results that my patients had with them. That is about helping people, not about selling things. Anyway, if you have bleeding gums, if you have a history of periodontitis or surgery, if you have bad breath or if you have a healthy mouth and you just want to keep it that way, USE THESE CLOSYS PRODUCTS !!!! ! A few other recommendations ... the Oral B Braun small round oscillating electric brush is also the best on the market. If you use that in combination with Closys products, your gums will improve! One thing I've always told my patients is to first floss, then brush for at least 2 minutes and if you use Closys toothpaste, don't rinse afterwards. Just spit. The longer the product is in contact with your gum tissue, the better. If you have children who use this or if you are concerned about this, purchase the non-fluoride version of this product. I hope people find this useful.
A Long-time Prime Person
I am a retired dentist and think this is the best available toothpaste, mild flavor, has fluoride, no SLS and is great for breathing. Download it on Amazon. Do yourself a favor and receive this paste and a SoniCare Diamond Clean toothbrush (use only the small brush). Costco has great sales on the units, but get replacement 'small' brush heads on Amazon). Rinse with Listerine (green (Fresh burst) or blue (Cool mint) is better than yellow) and floss once a day with a waxed floss (I love Glide Waxed). You save your money, protect your investment, time and suffering and you have no frustration in oral health. Please do not believe that toothpaste whitens teeth unless you do not brush at all and start using toothpaste. Avoid 'Triclosan', sand, 'Tartar Control', sodium lauryl sulphate, hard and medium sized hair, large and oddly shaped brush heads and toothpaste or floss or brushes for sale in a store. I recommend this, use it alone, will buy again, and hope this helps someone.
WARNING: They have changed the ingredients in the toothpaste. I have both versions in my hand - the new one has a twist-off cap and contains sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate. That's NOT sodium lauryl sulfate, that's the bad stuff that most toothpastes have. There are also some other ingredient changes.
Solid 5 stars. I have told everyone I know about this toothpaste. The mouthwash is also good, but I had to budget and just get the pasta. I tried this in a trial package and couldn't wait to order a full tube. This stuff WORKS. In the beginning it seems like it is not doing anything because it is so mild and I was tempted to use too much pasta. Even with the small test tube I achieved great results with just a little bit. After a few days this helped with my problems of dry mouth and 'dragon breath' in the morning. I'm not saying you're free from morning breath, but mine is definitely a lot better. This part sounds strange, but I swear it happens: I am supposed to drink more water (for health reasons) and I notice that water has tasted better since I used this toothpaste. How random, but it's true! The other thing I want to mention is that, no matter how tempted you are, you do NOT have to use much of this pasta. This stuff isn't cheap and I really wouldn't have bought the full-sized tube if it didn't work so well with just a tiny bit. I only need a few dots on my brush to do the job. In the past I have tried natural types of toothpaste, biotene, ACT, a few natural brands and a few other 'boutique' brands with dry mouth and bad breath. Some of my medications make the problem worse. This toothpaste is one that I intend to keep. You can see from my photos that the 7 oz tube is a good size. The test tube is one that I have used for more than two weeks because I tried to stretch it.
Zinc is another ingredient found in toothpaste that is sold as neutralization of bad breath, including in SmartMouth’s premium zinc ion toothpaste. The latter uses zinc ion activation technology to combat bad breath by postponing some of the volatile compounds that lead to it.
In addition, zinc gluconate and zinc citrate have been shown to help build up plaque, leading to bad breath and many other problems with teeth and gums.
The SmartMouth Premium zinc ion toothpaste has been developed by dentists who use zinc ion technology to develop products that refresh the mouth and at the same time become whiter and stronger. It has a cool, mint flavor that makes your mouth feel fresh and clean all day long.
But again, SmartMouth’s mission involves not only masking bad breath but preventing it by eliminating its causes. One of the causes is plaque and the SmartMouth Premium zinc-ion toothpaste is anti-plaque, anti-cavity and works to strengthen the enamel (while also combating tooth sensitivity).
It also contains a whitening ingredient that also works to combat tooth sensitivity and at the same time offer a better smile. If you smoke or drink a lot of coffee, you can try this toothpaste.
The SmartMouth Premium zinc ion toothpaste even provides a fresh breath of 12 hours when used with SmartMouth’s mouthwash. The makers are convinced that the use of both products makes your mouth as fresh as after a visit to the dentist.
- Zinc-activated technology effectively eliminates bad breath
- Enhanced tooth enamel
- Helps whiten teeth
- Causes a dry mouth in some users
Questions & Answers
Does it contain flouride?
Hello guys I love and looking for strong mint toothpaste I'm confused many comments say its powerful and other says mild mint so what ur advice?
It's not strong, but with Smart Mouth Toothpaste my mouth feels fresh longer.
Is this toothpaste made in USA ?
Yes, the tootpaste is made in the US and it delivers what it promises and works really well. Combine it with mouthwash and you really have a fresh breath for hours.
Is the toothpaste as effective as the mouthwash -- or do you need to use both?
I searched for a toothpaste to make my mouth feel fresh longer than brands bought at the store. Smart mouth quickly reassured me after using this toothpaste for a few months, I don't worry anymore about a possible bad breath halfway through my day.
It's just like Minty Cement! You MUST receive and use the clinical mouthwash as directed. Changed my life. The life of my girlfriend changed. Dog is not so happy with the change.
I had a bad experience with this toothpaste. I noticed that it would be hard enough to just not really enjoy it. I am considering trying again
I have been using toothpaste and mouthwash for years - it is the only brand I use. It is more expensive than many other brands, but is well worth the money - it works!

I have to admit that I can occasionally be a bargain. This toothpaste was my first experience with active charcoal teeth whitening and it was a very good one - great taste, great texture and great results, so I thought I could find something that was just as good for a little less. I didn't dare long before I came back here. The other toothpaste I bought was gray, rather than black, and didn't taste that good, but the worst part of my experiment with a cheaper price was the packaging - it was like squeezing toothpaste from a Coppertone bottle. Let me tell you, this toothpaste is not something like that - it comes in a real tube of toothpaste, is black as a cabbage and tastes great. I can really see the difference, so this is my favorite toothpaste, as long as they maintain this quality level. I remember a sign in my home pharmacy when I was growing up. \\ The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of a cheap price. \\ Buy with confidence.
This works !! I wanted to try an active carbon paste and I'm glad I tried this. I only used it once and I am shocked. Will order again. I can't wait to see what it will do in a few weeks
I was pretty skeptical about this toothpaste because I think the price was too good to be true. I thought why not? I took a cut of my teeth the day I started using the toothpaste ... 4/4/18 and today, 5/10/18. I have not been as diligent as I want to be, but I have tried to avoid any sensitivity it can cause. I assume you could say I use it 2-3 times a week, twice a day. I have not experienced much sensitivity and I love the results. Will definitely buy again!
I have been using this toothpaste for about a week now and have not noticed a change in my tooth coloring. I love the minty taste, but I think that when the foam comes on your skin, your skin gives that minty taste. the toothpaste is black as black licorice making your teeth look rather coarse like zombie like when you brush it. but it will disappear when you spit it out. is updated over time.
This is an excellent toothpaste for men who need serious help in fighting their bad breath with a heavy mint scent.
This toothpaste package initially has high costs, but you get six tubes.
is a good choice for your budget for this reason, especially if you have to stock up on toothpaste for the near future.
The toothpaste is made from fluoride and a few other typical ingredients, so there is not much to see that we have not seen it elsewhere.
But this toothpaste is one of the best when it comes to brushing your breath thanks to the dominant mint flavor.
It is excellent to cover bad breath and make you look fresher than before application, but it is also incredibly overwhelming for some people.
It makes your mouth tingle and can make drinking water that eats food downright unpleasant if you have toothpaste in the recent past
This toothpaste is one of the best when it comes to refreshing breathing, but it means that you have to withstand an intense burst of coins.
Aside from this factor, it is excellent for cleaning your teeth and strengthening their enamel over time.
Tackling coffee or tea stains can help, although it’s not the most whitening product we’ve ever seen.
In general, we recommend this package if you need a lot of toothpaste for an affordable overall price or if you want to overwhelm bad breath with a cheeky odor.
- Good at covering bad breath
- Comes with six tubes
- Protects teeth well against bacteria
- Mint flavor is super strong

This price is for a 6-pack. 25 Oz.
Is this 4 tubes or 6? Seems to say both in the description
I have been using Listerine toothpaste since the 90s. But slowly over time it was pushed out of supermarkets and pharmacies and it became harder to find. I have been taking it with colgate and crest the last few years when I suddenly got the show idea to look at Amazon. BINGO! It is like reuniting with an old friend. Please do not judge me. For those who are wondering, there's something about the Wintergreen flavor that I can't get enough of. This toothpaste taste is not exactly that, but the taste has similar refreshing tones.
Uncle John, NYC dentist, told me that this stuff is the secret weapon against periodontitis. Much better than the toothpaste from the niche brand. Get this if your dentist has informed you - like mine. Spend a few more $$ for Listerine to prevent $ 1000 + deep cleaning. See wiki for a really cool story about how the 3 essential oils in combination as Listerine are a super antibiotic. Why waste the opportunity by using Crest, Colgate, etc ...?
I went out with this person who said I could leave a toothbrush at home. And so the next time I started brushing my teeth I did this type of toothpaste he had. The first time I used it, I noticed that my breath was exceptionally fresh and my mouth was full of greatness. Why did I use Crest and Colgate all this time when Listerine kills it with this toothpaste! It is as if I cannot go back now if you have found something so wonderful and your mouth feels so clean that there are no alternatives. I will probably buy this for the rest of my life unless I get sensitive teeth and then you know what happens to Sensodyne for old people!
Okay, this stuff tastes pretty bad, but not unbearable. If you can handle the taste that is quite dirty, it actually works pretty well for a clean feeling and bad breath. I have not found that it causes any sensitivity if there was none in the beginning. I could recommend this product as long as everyone who uses it knows that there is essentially no mint flavor. I think the taste might come from the fluoride, but it's not great. But this is not candy, it is toothpaste. if it cleans teeth well, that's it.
Philips Sonicare Breathrx is another toothpaste that uses zinc – along with a blend of essential oils – to get rid of bad breath. And while it neutralizes bad breath and odor, it also helps prevent tooth decay and whiten teeth for a better smile.
Reviewers say that after a few days of using the Sonicare Breathrx you should see a noticeable improvement in the whiteness of your teeth.
You won’t even need that long to notice the positive effects on your breathing, because the fresh aftertaste lingers throughout the day from the first time you use it, will also appreciate it in the lower price range of effective teeth whitening lies. .
Sonicare promotes its Breathrx toothpaste as a first-class tooth whitener, but it also does a damn good job in combating bad breath. It fights stains and eliminates the causes of bad breath.
- Neutralizes bad breath and its causes
- Helps prevent tooth decay
- Whitens teeth effectively
- Can cause tooth sensitivity
Questions & Answers
Does this product work better than the Crest HD toothpaste when it comes to whitening?
It is !!!!!! I have used the product for more than two months and my teeth became very white, everyone asks me if I have done a whiting laser or not! Because the results are too professional❤️
Is this toothpaste safe to use with Sonicare brushes? The name would imlply it, but would really like to make sure before I buy.
Hello! Although this Sonicare BreathRX can be used on most Sonicare toothbrushes, the Sonicare rubber-backed brush heads cannot be used with toothpastes containing essential oils contained in this toothpaste.
does this have floride in it?
Yes, it contains fluoride.
Is this paste the fluoridex sensitivity one?
I don't think so, but there is an 800 that you can call to check. 422-9448.
I am a dental practice manager and have had my share of whitening products that I have tested over the years. Of course ... a lot of work (not much fun) but they are never \\ nice \\ and they always taste bad to say nothing of the dreaded \\ Zingers \\ you might get from the whitening gel. But this stuff. This stuff is amazing !!! It tastes good, my teeth feel good and not with a sour aftertaste. And the actual bleaching ?? Not only did I notice the shadow difference on myself, but the patients I would talk to started asking what I use. THE DENTIST wondered what I used !!! The fact that we were not selling it at our office at the time, but I was excited about it, should count as something. This is good whitening toothpaste and I am seriously happy that I found it.
This is a perfect addition to the Philips Sonicare toothbrushes - I am not sure why this product is not directly available in the store because it gives you the feeling that you have just left the dentist. Let your mouth feel clean and fresh.
If you are interested in the smell of your breath, work in a job where you are close to others (hint, hint to all vendors out there), or simply enjoy the taste and freshness that seems to last for hours ) then this is for you. I have sworn by all their products since 2007, and I will always do that. (Well, unless they went bankrupt).
I would like to know that this product is a compliment for my Philips Sonicare electric toothbrush. I will admit that I use it with my regular toothpaste every day. I love that some of my teeth have a whiter appeal to them. I would order this again because I believe it has shown improvement with the whitening power. I drink a lot of tea, so this product has helped prevent the stains. You will enjoy the fresh taste.
The four-fold and powerful cleaning formula of Pinnakkle’s active carbon toothpaste easily removes coffee, tea, and tobacco stains, leaving you with pearly white teeth.
Moreover, it does not leave a dirty black pinstripe behind your gums like most other charcoal-based bleaching solutions.
This only means that it does not stain the sink. While washing your teeth you will notice that the light foams, but not too exaggerated.
What this product really does is clean your mouth and whiten your teeth. It does not contain fluoride, in case this is important to you.
By reducing harmful bacteria in your mouth, this product prevents gingivitis, cavity, and plaque. Dirty and fresh breath is what you get after application.
Best of all, the price is almost a bargain for all the benefits you get with this product.
- A powerful cleaning formula easily removes stains
- Combats cavity, plaque, and gingivitis
- Reduces harmful bacteria and leaves a minty, fresh breath
- Extremely cost-effective
- Makes teeth very sensitive
- The tube is quite small
Questions & Answers
How many ounces of the product ?
2.82 each toothpaste toob
Why is this marketed as “natural” when it contains saccharine?
You must contact the seller to find out that information.
Made in Where?
China. Also do not rely on the perfect reviews. All reviewers have reviewed the same items on Amazon.
Can this be used daily?
Yes, but it doesn't work, don't waste your time and don't spend the money
I use the toothpaste twice a day for three weeks. I wanted to be honest before I wrote a review. After the first week I noticed minimal change on my teeth. I have a stain on my 2 teeth at the front that I hoped this toothpaste would help fade, the stain is lighter but still there. My mouth doesn't feel so fresh after using the toothpaste, so I still use my regular toothpaste. I will probably buy another tube because I have noticed a small change. Hopefully the stain will be removed from my teeth after 3-6 months of using the toothpaste. All in all a decent product, but don't expect too much.

noticed a difference in one brush, so I used it a second day - I had to wait a few days in between because it was almost a week later before I could drink something cold, very sensitive teeth. I am a bit worried about reuse. Taste is mint and not at all unpleasant.
If you are looking for a WOW! My month feels clean toothpaste, then this might be a good choice for you. However, that clean mouthfeel does not last long, maybe 30 minutes if you do not eat or drink anything (including water). If you are looking for a product that will whiten your teeth, it is NOT this product. I am just glad that in the past I have experienced the possible whitening results that come from the capsules. Although by far messy and time-consuming, and the toothpaste seems more convenient, if your desired goal is whiter teeth, I highly recommend extracting the powder from the capsules over this product. Maybe I'll try the pre-powder form, a happy middle can, without having to pull the capsules apart.
After the first time I have to admit that I see a difference. My teeth look good. I am great at taking care of my teeth and I really love this toothpaste, as well as the taste and smell.
This toothpaste uses a unique combination of ingredients that are excellent and have a cavity and breath refreshing effect.
This is an excellent choice for men who prefer natural products and appreciate a lesser-known taste.
Because it does not use fluoride or any other aggressive ingredient, sensitive teeth have nothing to fear from this toothpaste.
The different fruit oils are combined with a light green mint flavor.
This tastes like an original taste that you will not find in many other toothpaste products.
Although it uses a unique formula, it is still great for removing bacteria and bacteria between your teeth.
This has a subtle breath refreshing effect that is only enhanced by the presence of the fruit oils and spearmint.
The real disadvantage of this toothpaste is the high asking price.
It is one of the best natural products out there, but you have to earn a few dollars more for every few grams of pasta.
- Very good for sensitive teeth
- Original taste
- Made from natural ingredients
Questions & Answers
Does it contain fluoride?
I don’t think so it says smooth gel formula for fresh breath, sodium lauryl, sulfate free with xylitol. Been using for years and it’s true that he keeps your breath fresh clean and I use it with the lemon fresh mouthwash
What is rda (relative dentin abrasion) for this lemon mint toothfaste? original flavor's rda is 45. don't want to wear down enamel.
I do not know exactly what you are asking, but I have been using oxyfresh fresh for years and have never had a problem. I love the way it keeps my breath fresh all day. I use both the toothpaste and the mouthwash every day. I hope this helps.
Is this minty
Has a mild lemon flavor, is smooth, non-abrasive and REALLY helps you breathe and whiten your teeth.
Why is this so expensive all of a sudden? About 15 dollars? I thought it was half that last time I got it.
The Lemon Mint toothpaste has been around $ 15.00 per tube for years.
I tried this because I was intrigued by the lemon flavor. Although it is not spicy with lemon, I was blown away by the freshness, which lasts for hours. My mouth feels really clean. I think normal toothpaste tastes very strong, but my mouth does not always feel fresh after brushing, which is frustrating. I always flushed a lot to get the bad taste out - so the bleaching and protective ingredients were washed directly down the drain. Normal toothpaste is also irritating for me. Now I only use Oxyfresh in the morning and mix it with normal whitening toothpaste at night. The Oxyfresh cuts the hardness of the whitening toothpaste so that I can have it on my teeth! If I have done this for a week, my teeth will become whiter than after I had just gone through two tubes of the same bleaching paste. Very satisfied!!!

After I decided to use free fluoride / SLS, I think I tried at least two dozen different brands / tastes. This is one of the best so far. I really like that the flavors aren't really strong. I don't taste much lemon or mint but my mouth feels fresh for hours. It also doesn't make my tea taste funny when I drink after brushing. My teeth feel smooth and shiny, even though my six-month dental visit is coming. This would be my absolute favorite toothpaste, except for three disadvantages: 1) It contains carrageenan. There are other thickeners that do not have the possible side effects of carrageenan. 2) It comes in a plastic tube. I do my best to reduce my plastic footprint. 3) Costs. It is expensive for better than $ 14 per tube.
I recommend this toothpaste to all my patients. It is great for people who get ulcers easily because it does not contain sodium lauryl sulfate. Far fewer chemicals than most major brand pastes, and it helps to freshen up the breath better than most toothpaste. Great unique taste. I also love the powerful rinse!
Best toothpaste ever. Slightly minty with lemon hints. Doesn't taste fake like many others. Leave a fresh feeling in your mouth, but not the one that gives you toothpaste.
Some Tips To Keep Bad Breath Under Control
Consistent oral hygiene – such as regular brushing and flossing – is mandatory in the fight against bad breath. There are other things you can do including:
- Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Keeping your water intake at a sufficient level not only provides your body with adequate hydration, but it also flushes out toxins and eliminates dry mouth – one of the most common causes of bad breath.
- Replace the toothbrush every three months. The bristles lose their efficiency over time and do not clean your mouth as efficiently.
- Consuming raw fruits and vegetables, such as drinking plenty of water, is not only good for your body but also helps to breathe your breath
- Wash your mouth with water after every meal. Free from food particles that get stuck between the teeth and can cause bad breath.
- Using mouthwash in addition to brushing your teeth is a great way to keep bad breath at bay. Mouthwash can reach parts of the mouth that are difficult to reach with a toothbrush.
- Herbs such as mint, parsley, and basil are effective for controlling bad breath. Many types of toothpaste contain herbal extracts as ingredients.
- Take a small toothbrush – or mini disposable brushes – with you, along with a small container of toothpaste during the day to clean your teeth after every meal.

Most biological processes or disorders have a medical term that sounds much narrower than it actually is.
Halitosis is just another name for bad breath.
