1-Remington HC4250 Self-Haircut Kit
We have many questions when we think about electric razors:
- Bring a shave nearby?
- Does the battery last a long time?
- Is it noisy?
- But do we think about the part of our body that is most responsible for its use?
Maybe. Maybe not.
In fact, how a shaver feels on your hand is a vital consideration. And that’s one of the reasons why we really like the Remington HC4250.
It fits easily in your hand. There is nothing clumsy or difficult to handle about it.
It has a rubber grip for maximum control. After all, nobody wants a razor that comes out of hand and ends up on the floor of the bathroom (hopefully not in a million pieces).
Of course, the Remington HC4250 is much more than just its grip. It is, after all, the best electric razor to shave head. But we would be negligent if we did not mention his grip.
However, there are many more things to like about it:
The HC4250 has an extra wide curved blade that closely follows the contour of your head to provide you with a uniform cut.
Versatile and has everything you need to get a quality haircut from the comfort of your home, which includes:
Combs of nine lengths (from 1/16 to 5/8 ).
A cleaning brush and oil.
It is available for use with cable and without cable.
A rechargeable lithium battery with 40 minutes of wireless operation. The Remington HC4250 can also be used with a cable and comes with a charging adapter. A full charge takes four hours, which is not bad compared to other razors.
It is 100% washable with water. That is always a great feature and makes cleaning your razor a lot easier (with so little clutter).
Questions & Answers
can I use this with no clipper?
That's no problem. They immediately stand out and you can use it for super close cutting.
Can I shave my beard with this?
No. This pulled out my facial hair, which was very painful. This is not strong enough to cut thick facial hair. My beard is short.
what are the guide numbers that the kit comes with?
It comes with the following guide combs (from the HC4250 Use and Care Guide): 1.5mm - # 0 (1/16 ") 2mm2.5mm3mm - # 1 (1/8") 4.5mm6mm - # 2 (1/4 ") ) 9 mm - # 3 (3/8 ") 12 mm - # 4 (1/2") 15 mm - # 5 (5/8 ")
What is the shortest and the longest length i can cut with this?
Shorter, approximately one sixteenth and longer, approximately five eight-inch
For those who: 1) do not want to spend $ 20 every 2 weeks on a haircut; and 2) I like to keep my hair short ... this is a GREAT machine. I am 66 years old, and although I used to keep my hair longer, I have rejected the hairstyle aspect in favor of cleanliness. Usually, I ruffle my hair but I do not want the chrome-domed look of a shaved head. And besides, I stopped shaving a long time ago. So ... since I like to look clean and professional, I was used to waiting in a hairdresser to disburse cash every two weeks. Then I started looking for alternatives. I found this razor and I could not be happier. It takes about 3 minutes for my hair to have the desired length (use accessory 1.5) and clean the shaver. It is so easy to do this a couple of times a week. And the shaver will pay itself in 6 weeks. What else can I ask?
He is an awesome clipper to cut a dog's hair. We have a 4 year old Westie, called Millie, and I always cut my hair. I had an older clipper that was useful, but this new one was amazing. I gave my dog a haircut in about 10 minutes. It gave a very even cut that is not very close or shaved. I used the longer 5/8 "blade guard, which was perfect, I could go over her hair and remove her hair immediately, I used a movement as if I was brushing it ... I would go in one direction and then I would go back to the other direction to get a uniform cut.Areas like ears, eyes and other sensitive areas will need scissors, but I could make your legs, neck, body, head, most of your face and tail with this thing in a very short period time compared to other clippers this is much quieter and does not have a strong vibration to scare a dog I have my dog lying down and just turn it until it is clipped, then I make it sit or stand to do a closer job. I know that hairdressers work with the dog standing up, but I feel that it is quieter when it does not have to be stopped all the time. The Remington shortcut was loaded in a few hours and kept a full charge all the time I was trimming Millie. Very happy with my purchase. Thank you. to read my reviewBecky Brooks
Exactly what I need and nothing of the bloat. My goal is to keep my scalp as close to bald as possible without the razor and it does it quickly and easily. FYI - I threw away all the plastic pieces ... I don't need them. Once you do that, everything fits in the case 🙂
I bought this kit to replace a beard trimmer that I used to shave my hair on my head every other day or so. The problem with the regular trimmer was the small blade, as well as the irritation of the hair clipper on my scalp. This thing worked beautifully out of the box, even without a full charge on the battery. It has reduced the time I spent shaving my head by at least half. It is especially easier to cut the back of my head and get a nice smooth gradient of hair, instead of spots / uncut areas that you can get with a smaller trimmer. Usually I can take over a place once instead of several times, which has reduced the irritation I mentioned. The battery life also looks great on this little thing, although I usually connected it during use. I have really rinsed it with water only once or twice, although it is water resistant / resistant. I prefer to use the brush with which it has cleaned the blades. Overall this thing is excellent, and I would buy another one if I needed it. Hopefully the battery and the blades will last quite a while!
2-Skull Shaver Pitbull Platinum Shaver
The Pitbull Platinum is one of the best electric razors to shave head. It has a comfortable grip with a large head that extends from the base. You can hold it comfortably and pass it over your head without worrying about nicks or cuts. This bad boy looks amazing and has that masculine chrome look! The good thing about this new model is that you can use it in the shower and perform multiple tasks!
Skull Shaver actually has 3 models of its new Pitbull models. The Pitbull Platinum is the Elite model, High End. It is one of the easiest to use, so it is at the top of the list. It adapts to the palm of the hand, which facilitates shaving around the head. This makes shaving comfortable and fast.
There are 5 blades that move and rotate independently, allowing the large coverage area to conform to the shape of your skull. You also get enough uses with a single charge. It also comes equipped with a deluxe travel case, a charging cable and an LCD display with battery indicator. I really like the travel blocking feature too. I can not tell you how many times my razor accidentally went on to be taken to the warehouse on the plane. When I need it the next morning the battery is dead!
It's ok, not worth $ 200 .... The feel and flexibility of the shaver is good. Do not buy this in the expectation that you have a one-pass for a smooth result. For that you have to apply some pressure and even then it takes several times and causes skin irritation. I still notice that I use a razor for certain places. If you want a quick tool to be presentable, this is it. I still prefer the smoothness that you get with a knife, although it takes a little more time, this product is in my opinion more acceptable for around $ 100 price, I bought the platinum.
I really like this shaver. It is easy and makes shaving my head quick and safe. The only reason why I don't give it 5 stars is that the price is a bit high and I don't have to receive the washing station yet. I have submitted the paperwork on the website, according to the instructions from the package leaflet, but I still need to hear something.
Works well! I admit I only used Pitbull. It loses some power after 80% load, but still works exceptionally well. It only got 4 stars due to poor customer service. I contacted customer service 3 times, but I only contacted me once. I would buy again, but next time I would buy gold instead of platinum. From what I can see, the difference is that the platinum has a 2-year versus 1-year warranty, comes with a carrying bag worth maybe $ 20 & a soak-in position that is worthless. You pay $ 100 more for the platinium. I would recommend buying the gold for $ 100.

Earlier this spring, when my 6-year-old Braun died, I looked for a replacement and reduced it to the Braun Series 7 and the Panasonic Arc 5. Although my skin is not too sensitive, I get some in adult hair with some of the electric shavers outside. For the past 20 years my experience with Braun has been positive in this regard, so I chose the Series 7 790 cc. The series 7 has a changed foil design compared to my older Braun, which resulted in many adults for me. I stayed for 5 weeks and still no improvement. That's why I bought the Panasonic ES-LV81-K Arc 5. After using the Arc 5, I can say that it provides much better results for me. No with adults and a smoother shave. Compared to Braun, the overall build quality of Braun is better and I love the way the Braun fits better in my hands ... but the ultimate reason for buying a shaver is the quality of the shave and this is where the ARC 5 beats the Braun 760 cc. I shave in less time, shaving is closer, and I have no problems with adults. Regarding 4 stars versus 5 ... the shaving quality is a 5, but the plastic cheaper feeling of the shaver only lowers my rating slightly.
This is the second Panasonic Arc razor I have had. The rotary shavers tore my neck badly. I have very sensitive skin, but this razor doesn't bother me at all. The first breading shaver, the pruning shear piece, tore the teeth and made it unusable. After receiving this, I realized it was my fault. I would lift the running shaver and use, use and push the trimmer. Doing this while the shaver is running is what shaves the teeth of the trimmer. This model is an improvement on my previous model. The head turns nicely and the display on the shaver is easy to read and reliable. I love the rubber grips on either side of the handle. It feels safe in my hands even when they are wet. The vacuum cleaner really lubricates the blades, because I see the difference after I have gone through a cleaning cycle for the shaver. Normally I keep my shaver clean after every shave and only use the dry function to really dry the shaver. I then perform the clean cycle once a week. This extends the service life of the cleaning cartridges considerably.
Had used the four-blade Panasonic device a few years ago and was happy with it, but it was my first electric shaver and had nothing to compare to it. The foils had deteriorated somewhat after about two years of use and instead of getting replacements, they simply opted for a brand new, cheap shaver. Switched to a lower Braun model that was absolutely worthless. The best I could get was about the equivalent of a full day regrowth with the Panasonic (both the four and five knife models). Again, it was a lower Braun model, so I can't comment on their expensive copies. But I point out that the money you pay for this Panasonic upgrade is absolutely noticeable. I used the Braun for about six months before I realized that I wanted the Panasonic close-shave again. I use Proraso as a shaving soap. I go over the same places on my face several times, more out of habit than because it's absolutely necessary. Proximity is so good that even twelve hours later I am still smooth as I move my hand on my face with the grain. Why the lost star: the same as with the four-blade device, both Panasonic have absolutely pathetic side brush trimmers. They are thin. The one on my device with four blades stopped working after about 18 months. The one on my five-leaf device is noticeably the same; hopefully it holds out. The sideburn trimmer on the cheap Braun I KEEP MY CABINET IN THE DARK BECAUSE I HAVE THE PREFERENCE ON THE PANASONIC'S, REMOVE THE BRAUN WORSE. So yes, that says a lot. But I still give four stars because the foil / close-shave function is great.
First let me say that I have been using the ES8077 model for about 5 or 6 years. That is an older model of this razor that is, simply put ... great. I wanted to stay with Panasonic, because when I bought it ... it was the best on the market and I knew I was getting quality. I had read many reviews and am glad I stayed with my brand. The shaver is just as good as your old one, but better. It is sleek and modern and looks pleasant. runs silent. and holds a load well. As with any electric shaver ... it takes time to get used to it, luckily that's all I use. I have a very thick beard and I have to shave every day. I'm 30 yrs white man. Italian and German origin, so you know my hair is thick. This is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. If you let your hair get too long, it will not cut well. So as with any shaver. use it daily or every other day. Many of you are probably wondering, like I did, you just get the razor ... or the one for another $ 50 that comes cleaner. Buy the one that comes with the vacuum cleaner. Why? Because when you rush to work and you don't have time to properly clean your head ... you throw it up there. You don't need it ... but spend a little money to ensure that the product is taken care of. You can do it yourself ... but for me ... I know it is very busy in the morning and sometimes I can forget it or just not clean it up ... so for me this is something that I need. Just to keep the shaver in top shape. It looks cool and overall the shaver is great, works like a champ and is easy to use. Spend the few extra dollars and get the cleaning station. Again, you don't need it, but it gives you options. If you are as busy as I am, you will be glad you did it. soap and water will also clean it, and the cartridges you buy to clean it can be cleaned and used every other shave or whenever you want.

Usually I am not one for writing reviews, but I feel obliged to do this. I have read so many reviews about these shavers, and I have to tell you that I read much more negative reviews than positive ones. I came close to closing the book on this purchase, then one day I looked in the mirror and saw facial hair that I didn't like. Since quadriplegic shaving is a chore and still going on, when I shave at night before going to bed, I need another shave by noon. So I said hell with it, if I don't like it, I'll send it back. Well I was pleasantly surprised! I love the way it fits in my hands (without very good dexterity), the on / off button is easy to press! And above all, it gave me a very, very smooth shave! it's a game changer! I haven't even tried wet shaving yet, I could only assume it's better. And the self-cleaning is great too. They say you should replace the blades for about $ 50 after about a year. I don't care, I've spent so much on expensive shavers. The fact is that it's not as close as a razor, but it's damn close. I can live with it. I give the 9000 series 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!
After spending more than a year with this shaver, I got to know it pretty well. This is my opinion. This is clearly intended for people who shave every day or every other day. When it first arrived, it was 3 days ago since my last shave, and this shaver pulled, jerked and left me with a very irregular shave that I had to save with a manual razor. Unable to use it while it is connected-in is annoying. In 2005 I fight another Norelco for half the price of this, and it can shave and charge at the same time. On the subject of charging, I shave every other day, and an average charge lasts about 2 weeks. An average shave takes me around 10 minutes, consumes around 10% of the battery and the battery loses 1% charge per day that it is not active. A full load takes about an hour. They tell you to run the shaver all the way between two charges, so I have to assume that it must have a nickel-based battery instead of a lithium-based battery. and with shaving cream. I have very coarse, fast-growing facial hair. I can grow a full beard in a week. This shaver gives me smoother results than a safety razor. However, it requires a lot of work and multiple passes. Fortunately, you can really push this shaver into your skin without causing irritation, but unfortunately you have to get those things closed and smooth. The shaver started asking me to replace the blades with almost exactly the 1 year mark. A cleaning fluid cartridge lasted about 2 months, but you might as well clean it in the sink. The cleaning cycle in the stand takes about 3 hours, but I can clean it manually in 30 seconds. Perhaps the most important thing is not that it is more expensive. I learned this the hard way. My previous Norelco was half the price and a better shaver. This one is slower, more delicate, more clumsy and offers no real tangible benefits over the cheaper models I have used. It still gives a good shave, but you can get the same shave for less. The standard simply takes up a lot of space and does nothing terribly useful. The suitcase looks nice, but this thing fell apart while traveling and I had to figure out how to snap the suitcase back together. Overall it's good, but I'd say get a cheaper model.
Dave in Texarkana
Had an older model Norelco, the same design, for about 8 years - had the head replaced twice. The last aftermarket head I bought on Amazon at the end of 2017 pulled her but didn't cut - full Amazon refund, perfect customer service. Decided for a new unit compared to the cost of OEM replacement heads and that my old unit started making unusual noise, I assumed that at least one drive shaft started to come loose and vibrate at a certain point, signaling a malfunction. This unit met all specifications as advertised. The battery life to date has been shown to be less than even my older device at 8 years, but you should get a good 10 shaves or more from one charge. I am very picky about the care of rechargeable batteries from training and experience, so I feel that I am giving a reliable assessment of the battery's performance. I have very fine hair, so no challenge for the razor, just to straighten it. While I shave every day, I work on stubble, so getting up is no problem. I have done extensive research into reliable techniques when using a rotary shaver. The only way to become 'flexible' is to press too hard. I have sensitive skin and I believe that this razor blade is less irritating than my 'old' one, but I attribute that to new blades. For the price and performance this razor is really no better than my 'old' or others I have tried, so the bang for the buck is moderate at best - so the 3 stars. I really believe it's just as good as any other, but no better. I would have preferred to buy without the loading / cleaning system to save money. I have had that before, they are not reliable and do not adjust the razor for better performance. This system is still in the box, there were no improvements compared to the ones I tried before. Simple separation of the blades and good washing after each use is sufficient. I like that the knife system is completely removed with this model versus just opening like my previous one. That makes it much easier to clean. It is a bit special to stand in line to get it back to the base station, but that gets a little better with practice. The travel bag is pretty nice and I use it a lot in business trips. The absence of a side burner is annoying and not practical for carrying the individual unit. The 'old' one I had had a trimmer built into the unit and should have it, again IMHO. I cannot recommend this unit for its price. I have not had a big hit with foil / Braun in the past, but will probably switch to try it the next time I have to replace this device. I hope this is useful and do not hesitate to ask questions if you want.
I have used the older style Norelco for many years (eg 3000 and 4000 series). I always thought about getting the more expensive top shavers, but I wasn't sure if it was worth the cost. I bought the 9700 and went for the best because Amazon had so much on it. Now that I've had both, I'm not sure I would buy the more expense models. The 9700 glides better over my face and seems to miss fewer hairs. However, I do not feel that it shaves so close. The cheaper heads seem to have a thinner housing, which means shaving closer, but I had to go over my face more often to get all the hair. The top cap that holds the heads in the 9700 has more material around the outside of the head, so it's harder to shave around my nose and sideburns because the blade isn't close to the end of the cap. Hard to explain, but I felt it was easier to tell where the knife was with the cheaper model. I also miss the convenience of the built-in trimmer. It is a pain to break off the razor to add the trimmer, but the trimmer seems a bit wider with the 9700. The best part of the 9700 is the battery level indicator. I have not used the cleaning set, but I do not think it is important. The blades for the 9700 rinse better and leave almost no hair behind the blades. For me, the best razor would be a combination of the older and new styles. Unless you have money left over, I think you would be just as happy with the cheaper models. If you can find a model that uses the HQ9 blades, they are the best.
5-WAHL PROFESSIONAL 8061-100 5-STAR SERIES SHAVER SHAPER
There is nothing wrong with the old school. But if you can combine the old school with the new school technology, then you are in something.
Enter the Shaper Shaper of the Wahl 5-star 8061-100 series. The shaver
has a classic look that dates back to the 1950s due to its rectangular case and a large on/off button that is impossible to miss. And it comes with wide-bladed razor blades.
Of course, any review of the best electric razor to shave head would not be complete without something from Wahl, whose products have drawn attention for a good reason (that is, they are of high quality).
Let’s take a closer look at the 5-Star series shaver:
- You’ll like the versatility of the 8061-100. It is excellent for our main purpose here: to shave the head, but it is useful to shave the face, the neck, and the beard if so desired.
- Lightweight and easy to handle.
- It’s affordable.
- You can use it with or without cable, and its hypoallergenic shaving blade makes it suitable for any type of skin.
- You will get a close shave with the Wahl 8061-100 without the need to apply a ton of pressure.
- The aluminum head makes it easy to cut out temples and beard.
Another reason for you to like the 5-star Wahl series razor is that it works well with different types of hair, from super fine to thick and thick. That said, it’s not ideal for trimming the longer hair.
Questions & Answers
is this a good shaver for african americans?
What I've learned is that every African American beard is NOT the same. You have to give it a shot yourself to determine what's best for YOU and almost have to ignore everyone who tells you what does and doesn't work. Having said that, although I think the Magic Shave powder works best for me, it's very inconvenient. The Wahl shaver is the best runner up that I've found and have been using it for over a year. This is the first time I'm not even considering an alternative. If you give it a shot, you should wait after 2 weeks before deciding if it works because it takes about that long for your hair to adapt. AND I also have to use a trimmer prior to shaving because the shaver only works on micro short hairs. I'm in my 40's and only recently found something that works best for me so the best of luck to you.
Has anybody used this on there head...? I shave my head every 3 days...looking to save some money on blades...
Yes! My husband uses it on his head and face every morning. He likes it. He recently replaced it with a new one for a whole new unit, because the old one got a little tired, but with daily use! And a new head assembly about every 3-4 months, but overall this is a good unit.
Do you deliver to brazil - são paulo - sp?
We apologize, we are not currently shipping to Brazil.
Is this as good as the 8061? What are the differences?
I spoke to WAHL directly about this. This model can ONLY be used after it has been charged. This was done to be compliant in California. The 8061 model can be used after it has been charged OR while plugged in to an electric outlet.
Any man can use this shaver, but I specifically speak to African-American men. I am a 49-year-old African-American man and I can guarantee that I have tried too many species to mention. Anyway, this shaver can honestly NOT cut you. Even better than that, if you are sensitive to bumps, this shaver promotes a better quality shave (without shaving bumps), as long as you follow these steps: 1). Do not press the shaver too hard against your face2). Try shaving your best WITH the grain of your hair3). DO NOT try to go back too much over the same area4). Use witch hazel immediately afterwards (can be used on both head and face) This shaver saves me $ 20.00 a week, $ 80.00 a month, about $ 1,000 a year to go to a hairdresser. just to get that "baby butt" smoothness. This makes my shavers last longer, which also saves $$$. * Tip - I shave my head and face twice a week so that the hair is not too long. This means you don't have to go back too often over the same shaved area.
I can't use a razor. I cannot use a normal electric shaver. I have Eczama. I use Magic Shave depilator, which BURNS the hair off my face. One day my hairdresser accidentally used this specific shaver on my face and neck. I admitted it to him, but deep inside I panicked because I thought I'd break out. I didn't do that. So I bought one. It works and I can use it in between the depilator without an outbreak.
Initially I was very impressed with the performance - close shaving, just like what is on the shaver: "Super Close". But after a month of use, I am not that impressed. The main reason is that there is no trimmer that can be a problem, because this shaver really does a very close shave as they claim, but offers a little longer than around 1/32 "- - After using it for a few weeks, missing a few hairs and so a few weeks later, these missed hairs would never be cut, and by that time I had a few dozen uncut hairs. The only solution was to use another shaver or a trimmer. My conclusion This is not something you would want to use without having a sort of trimmer.
New baldy here. Tried 4 other shavers before you bought them. I have had it for a few months now and there is nothing that comes closer than a razor itself. It has to shave a load of about 7 x 15 minutes before it is sufficiently broken that I see performance decrease. I use ElectraShave with the shaver so that it does not rise. I think it is best to clean the blades after every shave, so that things do indeed work better with each cut. The shaver is noisier than other shavers, but I like that, I don't shave. Grips good and easy to use. I think it's really great that it works even when the cord is connected.
6-Philips Norelco AT810
Now, let’s take a look at some rotary knife shavers. The Philips Norelco AT810 is an intermediate model that should take good care of your head. Super Lift Cut technology lifts shorter hair and cuts it under the skin.

With a name like Norelco you know what you get. They have a good shaver that lasts a long time and your price is based on the benefits it has. With my experience I have seen no difference in quality between Remington or Philips. I love the charging station, so that's why I chose this model. This is my second because my son commanded my last. If you have a power outlet near your sink, I would recommend the models with the doc. It will always be fully charged and you do not have to search for it in the drawer. Not 5 stars until someone actually makes an electric shaver that cuts as close as a knife.
Because I had good experiences with two previous similar Philips Norelco shavers, I bought this in March 2017. It worked reasonably well until June 2018, when the on / off switch started to misbehave. The shaver would run for a while, then stop or not start at all. I contacted Philips and they sent me a new shaver, which I transferred to. This has worked well so far. However, my 'back-up' shaver, a Model AT814, purchased on 22-09-12, has now died, with the same problem; this is NOT battery related. I had a much older Norelco, inherited from my father; In addition to replacing the original batteries with a pair of Ni-CADs assembled by the jury, this shaver lasted about 20 years. !! This was made in the Netherlands; the two newer ones came from China. I also learned that the HQ8 cutters / combs have been stopped, all three using shavers. It seems that these types of shavers have also disappeared from their website. When the newly purchased blades need to be replaced, I change brands ...
This is my 4th floating Norelco shaver in almost 20 years. The battery life in the 4100 model is exceptional. I have received at least 12 shaves per load. In addition to a smooth shave, I really like that the Norelco doesn't have that annoying buzz like the foil shavers I've had. I would choose Norelco every time.
A few years ago I thought it was "time for a change" and after years of familiar Norelco 3-cup design I switched to a straight electric shaver instead. When I first started it, it was new and exciting - as exciting as electric shavers can get, I think ... But after a while I started thinking how long it took me to shave than before. When it was time to replace the heads (or the razor), I went ahead and thought I would go back to the Norelco types I had been used to before. What a difference. It may take me a third to a quarter of the time I needed to shave with the old electric that I used. This design catches so much more hair at the first pass, it is sad to think of the hours I wasted with the old one. The only reason that this does not have 5 stars is that there is no "base" unit to keep it straight while charging - like any other Norelco I've ever had. Instead, the charging cord goes directly into the power port - it's not the end of the world, but something I didn't even think about when deciding which model to buy.

Questions & Answers
Why has the price gone up almost $100 in just over 2 years!? Blades wore out, no replacement.
price for this model. Thank you
Does it shave/trim with a power cord when the battery charge is low?
Yes, but it recharges very quickly. I shave with three boilers without noticing any loss of power.
head shaver attachment - how often should you replace it and is the replacement head shaver attachment sold separately
I see no reason to replace it if it is not broken. You can order individual replacements. I even ordered an extra just because I liked it better than the one I originally received with my shaver. Here is the site: http: //www.buyphilipsparts.com/item/9690788/Norelco/422203617931/Comb#
can u set different lengths for the balding attachment also? Or does it only have 1 setting?
Hello Daniel ... has the function of using different types of lengths for the trimmer, it also has another accessory (like a larger trimmer that also has different lengths and configurations). The bald accessory is only a regular fit, since its use is specifically to leave the head completely bald. I recommend this product! Trust me.
I bought them because I was tired of paying $ 20 or more per week for a poor quality hairdresser to give me a standard haircut that I could do myself. Note to others: from the beginning you will not make beauty cuts. You have to practice, practice, practice! I probably had between 5 and 6 haircuts (the first two resulted in me getting bald) before I got down to work and could make decent haircuts. The rotating blade helps A LOT! It is much easier to simply rotate the blade the way you need to cut off any side of your hair. It also comes with various accessories for shaving, hair length, combs, precision blades, etc. Honestly, it was a good business, especially because it is rechargeable and the battery lasts a long time. Definitely worth trying at least. Today I make a quick cut and shave before going to some functions, because the rotating blade is a lifesaver. I had a Panasonic electric shaver before this and the man made him suck. This thing blows out of the water.
I shave my head like a timepiece, every two weeks. So far I have used a traditional hairdresser's package, cord and 1-attachment. I was excited about the prospect of the "easy-maneuver" wireless model, as well as the ability to get a blade close shave. It is a five-star review for the buzz. It was faster, more efficient and easier than ever to shave my head. I thought that was great. But then I exchanged the razor accessory for a nice, clean head. No luck. It made my head irregular and would have taken ten steps to even get close to success. I had to switch to a razor with a straight blade to finish the job. I look forward to continuing to buzz with my head with this easy to hold and operate device; but unfortunately, not such luck with a clean finish.
The hair clipper works well. They are fairly versatile because I can use them to trim my beard and shave my head. The battery died on my third use, but the ability to use it while connecting is a big advantage. The only negative is that the user's guide was only made with images (I think they wanted to save on translation costs.) Unfortunately, it was difficult to interpret some of the information they were trying to convey with the images. Or maybe I'm just not smart enough.
Exactly what I needed. African American man, needed something that worked for shorter sides for a bald look, this works perfectly. It also shaves my neck well without ingrown hairs. Have not tried shaving the face and it will never be - not worth the risk of irritation. I shave with Andis t-outliners and then pass with a razor. Worth the money.
8-BlueFire 5 Blade Rotary Shaver
The Bluefire shaver is an excellent solution for shaving the head and face. What I like about this razor is that the price is less than $ 100 and comes with 5 rotating blades. The blades are really arched and bent down on your face and head when shaving for a close shave.
Therefore, it will follow the outline of your head and face. Keep the blades in contact at all times for a clean shave.
Features of the BlueFire 5 Blade rotary razor
- It is waterproof, which makes it nice to do double the time in the shower if desired and makes it easy to clean under the tap without having to worry about ruining the unit. This also allows you to moisten shaving with shaving foam and where other types of shavers do not.
- If you’ve traveled a lot, you know how frustrating it is when your razor turns on your suitcase to handle your luggage and the battery runs out when you use it the next morning. There is a sweet travel lock feature that is included to avoid that.
Now this is where this bad boy separates from the others. The engine runs at 22000 rpm! While it is fast, it is designed to cut the hair of the beard between 3-5 mm or .12-.2 inches. If it’s bigger than that, you’ll first want to use a beard trimmer and then go.
You have to plan between 10 and 12 hours for the first charge. A price that you pay with a fast engine.
Questions & Answers
How to clean head ?
I returned my shaver due to it sticking on and the quality of shave. Ended up buying a simple norelco and it works great.
is this good for shaving face and bald head or just baldhead ?
does it have replaceable heads?

Purchased this and so far I am very satisfied with the performance. The battery lasts a long time and cuts hair just as well as expected with a rotary shaver. It must be cleaned after every shave to keep it in good condition. I would recommend this to anyone who does not want to take the trouble to use shaving cream and a knife. I will add that it is recommended that your hair is no longer than 5 mm at the first use.

Product has really simplified the process of shaving my head. It works great for me.
I got this for my husband because he needed a new head for his last, but they no longer sell them. He uses it strictly for shaving his head. So he chose this one. This is his third brand. He likes this one. He says he has no complaints and would buy from this seller again.
This product was very efficient and comfortable. It made my bald head shave. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to keep his bald head smooth.
9-Bald Eagle Smart Skull Shaver
There is a new child in the block that allows you to hold the shaver in the palm of your hand and shave your head. The skull and face shaver is easy to use and uses the same movement as if you were rubbing a lotion on your head. With over 1000 comments you can definitely trust this guy!
The bald eagle knife makes it easy for children to shave their heads with large rotating blades. It has 5 blades that make it easy to cover a large area quickly while following the contour of your head with flexible heads. You will get approximately 90 minutes of shaving time and it only takes a couple of hours to load.
What really makes it different is the handle, so you can shave your head more easily than a vertical handle, like in 730 or 830 of norelco, for example. It is easy to clean under the tap when finished.
It is not always able to get as close as using a knife, but when used with a knife it is much easier to keep my head bald. Update: 1/30 / 2013 Use the shaver almost daily since I first opened it. I have found that with regular cleaning, daily use and a shave about twice a week I can easily keep my head bald. Until now I have not had a shaving fire or dry spots with just a cocoa butter cream. I'm not a naturally balding person, so I've given the knives a pretty good workout and so far they've kept it really well. Will try to remember to update this if I ever have to get new blades (if that is even an option). Update: 2/5/2013 (Upgrade to 5 stars) While washing the heads, I let the middle one slide off my hands and down the drain. Pulled the pipe, but it was light enough that the water must have pushed it through. I sent an email with a whim to see if they would be willing to sell me only the middle head, so I wouldn't have to buy the whole piece. Within an hour I received a response from John Lyles, the inventor and partner of Skull Shaver, that a new head was sent to me & no worries. I love that kind of customer service, where they get the WOW factor from me. Just another reason that I recommend this product.
This can take a long time. Generally I enjoy this shaver pretty well. it is comfortable to hold, easy to use and ensures a good clean cut when it works. the first two months I had it and never had a problem. Then one day it was loud, slowly turning and eventually locked up and it would run a lot. I shot the knife off and the engine worked perfectly without anything attached to it. I did some googling and found a page about removing the four outer blades and cleaning them. Once you do this, you know firsthand that the manufacturers claim that letting it run in water for a few seconds does not come close to sufficient work. After I cleaned it up, I got a few more shaves and it happened again. I ordered the replacement package with 2 blades and the first shave went well again. That knife hung it around the third shave (by the way, I don't try to cut long hair at all). At the moment I was quite frustrated because I was deployed and cannot send and receive a package quickly to correct the purchase. Because the knife didn't work at all at the moment, I thought I'd take the thing apart and see what I could do. Find out by letting it run in water for a few minutes. DEFINITELY does not do the job well. the middle part was completely full of hair and was completely pumped out of the oil that they had there from the manufacturer and some of the gears turning the outer blades were stuck and locked up - hence the whole thing was locked up. All blades run from the central blade momentum. I cleaned all the hair and did my best to get rid of the nasty oil, it seems that they use a very thick lubricant that dries quickly. I put it back together with a small amount of mineral base oil, nice and light and gives no gum (exactly the same as Wahl clipper oil). I've only used it once since, but it was by far the best cut I've ever had! So while it seems stupid to pay so much for something that you have to rebuild the sheets directly from the manufacturer, it really is a great basic unit - the sheets can simply be put together better. *** For me, with the help of reading shaving with this it is also a better experience ***
10-HEADBLADE ATX ALL TERRAIN HEAD RAZOR
The first thing someone will ask is why you bought a toy.
What happens with the ATV toy in your bathroom? , he or she will say.
But that’s what happens with the HeadBlade ATX All Terrain Head Head shaver: it looks like a toy, it comes packaged in a way that would make a child dizzy to find it under the Christmas tree and, to be honest, it seems fun
The thing is, however, it’s a razor that works.
A razor that comes with two wheels in front, a blade in the back and a body that resembles an all-terrain vehicle.
Pretty good, huh?
And, yes, it looks good, and it’s different than any shaver you’ll see. But it’s not a novelty, this is a blade that works.
Here’s the other thing: unlike other razors, which you pull on your scalp, you push the Head Head ATX All Terrain Head razor.
Let’s break it down:
First, let’s clear up any confusion. The HeadBlade ATX All Terrain Head shaver is a standard razor, not an electric razor. It uses double rotating blades and can be used to shave other parts of your face and body (you will only have to adjust the blade so that it is oriented in the opposite direction).
Yes, you could use a standard disposable razor, but one of the many advantages of ATX HeadBlade is that you do not have to use many short movements to get the job done. Instead, you can perform longer and more uniform movements without applying considerable pressure.
The wheels? Of course, not only are they to show, but they are designed to follow the outline of your scalp while taking those beautiful and smooth strokes.
I have used a number of different versions of the headblade over the years and this is by far my favorite design. The shavers of the headblade brand that belong to this specific version (design with 4 blades) are also very nice and last a long time before they go dull. I use this to shave my head and face and a disposable blade will sometimes last me at least a week of daily shaves. Did this for a while, 2 blades, 3 blades, 4 blades, 5 blades ... Nothing compares to the design and function on my head. I decided to go back to headblade. Great product, surprised that there is not much competition, but I think it is hard to beat, so maybe that's why. Also I am not paid by headblade and I have never received anything for free from them. This is my honest assessment.
I'm so glad I tried this. I could never shave my head until I found this "Razor Car", as my son calls it. The device is cool, handy and practical. It comes close but not too close. The blades are also good. I'm a black guy with very natural hair, so I had to change blades after 3 weeks of use. That is good as expected. My head feels good, clean and free of razor. No other razor may touch this head. No!
I will start by saying that the concept of the Head Blade is great. You put your finger through the hole at the top and it is shaped to fit perfectly in your hand. All you have to do is brush your hand from top to back at the top or bottom at the back and sides over your head. It is comfortable to wear and the movements are much more natural than a standard razor. That said, the blades are terrible. I just can't shave enough with the main knife to make it become my razor. I still use it occasionally for quick tasks, but if I want a smooth shave, I have to use my Gillette. If they could solve the problem with the blades, I would use this every time.
Initially I didn't like this at all. Even planned a return. At least I thought I'd use up the razor while I had it. Tired that I loved it. I use it to shave my head. With my old razor I started at the crown and shaved myself down. Front and back. With this I can start at the neck and go all the way to my forehead. It shaves faster. I think I first pushed too hard and started on the crown. Using a little helps. It can be difficult to hold. But it becomes easier over time. The reason for the four stars is that the knife is difficult to change. I watched the video on their website to make sure I wouldn't break it. The design makes it look like toys. Make sure you store it so that children cannot play with it.
HOW THE BEST HEAD SHARPENER HAS BEEN SELECTED
While we investigate a lot, there simply is not enough time to test every head shaver in the market. But, rest assured, we did our homework. Finding the best electric razor took into account several factors, including personal experience and the opinions of customers.
We trust our selections, and believe that any of the products mentioned above will provide you with the kind of clean, clean shave you want (and deserve).
Foil and Electric razors
The main choice you will have with electric razors is the design you want. Some people prefer a metal-style razor, while others prefer a rotary-style razor.
Foil: The electric blade shaver contains oscillating blades that move back and forth at high speeds. These blades are covered with protectors that lift the hair to cut it and protect the skin. A razor blade will often have some separate cutting blades that flex independently to fit the contours of your face. However, because a foil head has a rectangular shape, it may not match your face, as well as with a rotating razor.
Rotary: The rotary shaver has round blades that rotate. It will receive protection from the rotating blades with a grooved guard that is placed over the blades and helps lift the hairs so they are easier to cut. The heads are flexed in multiple directions, allowing you to shave strongly by hugging the contours of your face. However, the rotating heads are more difficult to clean after shaving compared to the shaver.
The Final Word
For your comfort and safety, be sure to carefully follow the instructions for each model. You want to make this as simple as possible. Take a warm shower first, so that your hair follicles are lifted and cut more easily. If you get one of the best electric razors for bald spots, your morning routine can be as easy as shaving and walking.
