Questions & Answers
Is it suppose to shake a decent amount? I just got mine and while I enjoy the shave it gives me, it shakes and moves more than I thought it would. I am used to using a regular razor so i'm wondering if its just the norm? Thanks
It does vibrate rather strongly... it is a Strong motor for such a small device. As long as it makes a smooth sounding humming noise while you shave... then it is operating Perfectly. Please Remember that After EACH use you should spray the blade with Andis Lubricant.
Are these ideal for cutting a bald head if you don't want to use a razor
No trimmer / edger will get as close as a razor. These however are the next best thing.

Is it suppose to get hot so fast ?!?
I can't tell if it is due to design or not, but traditionally this product is heated quickly in the decades that I have used it and it gets hot! However, keep in mind that the outlines are primarily for trimming and lining, not for your normal hair clipper. All these years I use it on a sharp razor, which does not require much continuous use. ~ theJazzeOne
This is a professional grade razor especially for African American men who have problems with razor bumps. I use this to maintain my baldy and trim my facial hairs. This thing rocks.****** If you enjoyed my review please vote this review as helpful and feel free to ask me any additional questions and I'll answer them to the best of my abilities ******
Bottom line up front: if you suffer from razor bumps and ingrown hairs this is the product for you. My job requires me to shave daily and for years I've been the subject of annoying razor bumps and ugly in grown hairs (as is typical of black men because of the nature of our hair). I was recommended these clippers by a friend and after reading some reviews and being tired of having my face be ground zero for ingrown hairs I gave these a shot and boy am I happy I did! I gave myself a week to grow out my beard and then started using these to dry shave every day. My face is 100% clear of razor bumps and ingrown hairs and I couldn't be happier. I'll admit nothing beats a razor to the face when it comes to a close shave but these clippers get pretty darn close so that you can't even tell the difference. My only wish was that these were cordless and rechargeable. Nonetheless, I highly recommend these to anyone who suffers from and is fed up with razor bumps and ingrown hairs.
I have owned a lot of trimmers through the years and this is clearly the best.Extremely high quality and long lasting.I have been using it regularly for 5 years and it has never given any trouble. Finally replaced the original blades last month and now it is even better. But make sure you keep the blades lubricated if you want them to last. This is what Barbers use so if you want the best then get this.
I've been in search of a stubble clipper food my face that will last, and have finally found it. This bad boy is quieter than all the others I have tried and is extremely heavy duty. I've gone through many others like Remington and Norelco, but they are nowhere as close on quality. I'm confident this will continue to give a better shave for many years at about the same price compared to the standard cordless trimmers that come and go.
2. Wahl Professional 8051 Razor Edger
The Wahl Professional 8051 Razor Edger is designed exclusively for the professional use and delivers exceptional results.
It offers razor blades that are close and this makes it ideal for precise chamfering and trimming.
In addition to being versatile, the 8051 model features an ergonomic housing for maneuverability.
It also does not heat up during use, which means that you will use it for a long time.
You can not talk about the history of Wahl Clipper Corporation without mentioning the junior high school junior, Leo J. Wahl. Wahl, a technical student at the University of Illinois, designed a vibrating mechanical stimulator for his uncle J. Frank Wahl. The uncle then opened a small factory in Sterling, Illinois, where he started producing the massagers. Leo J. Wahl later took over and improved the products, so that consumers kept more of the products of Wahl.
- Perfect for edges, precision, and trimming
- Do not let heat develop while it works
- Ergonomic shape ensures maneuverability
- The trimmer is handy
- In case of improper use, the trimmer can break through the skin and cause irritation.
Questions & Answers
How does this compare to the andis t-outliner in terms of sharp and close cuts?
It's really good, but nothing compares to that T-Outliner.
its it dual voltage? 110-220 volts
The only one I received was only a voltage of 110 volts
Can I used this product in europe? considering the electric frequency.
Only with an adapter.
This shaver has a lot of 'warnings' to it. What other shavers could anyone reccomend to bald my husband?
I use a Wahl Sterling. The Sterling always works well on my customers.
How Did Did I Get Mush-Mouth
It usually doesn't take long before I know if I like something or not. I recently purchased the Wahl Detailers and the Andis Slimline Pro Li. The Detailers were just like that. I know for sure that if I had located them, they would have improved a little, but I figured why even wasting my time. The Slimline Pro Li's were okay if you were doing a hairline, but only if you were making a beard / goatee. Actually it does exactly what the label / box says, "necklines and light retouches. The Wahl 5-Star Razor Edger was great! In fact, I used it directly from the box without adjusting / closing it. In fact, if you wear your head or beard every day, you really don't want a "zero" gap, it will leave you with dark spots / scars of continuous lining, over time, leaving a distance of zero from the barber shop, wherever you are is coated once a week or longer and came out of the box very close to zero gap. is of the two, but for now, I give it a 4.5 and the Andis T-Outliners a 4.67.
Only for the hair type context - I am a black guy, I like to keep my hair short, and I often shape-ups myself. After trying out the Andis T-Outliner I was not only a little let down by the sharpness of the cut it gave (it was good but not great) but it also had to die on me with only a year use. It was time for an upgrade. I spent a lot of time online searching for the shave that you can get closest to a set of clippers and it is my God. These include a warning that the clipper can and will cut your skin if you are not careful, and rightly so! I am not disappointed with these trimmers whatsoever.
ok, i own the wahl detailer and the wahl edgeri purchase both on amazon, if you ask me which one to buy i will say "i don't know" they work very much on me. They both get a bit hot, the detailer is light and smaller and has a large blade, the wahl razor edge is slightly larger and has a smaller blade, both can do the same job for you. Note: wahl detailer .. I have the wahl -detailer set to 0 overlap and it feels good man, it feels like it scratches you, but you can't see it All together it does the work nice lines and everything Note: wahl razor edger, I set 0 overlap, and it feels better than the detailer the same job, clean nice lines and so on, the blade is also smaller, so that it will help you a little more than a large knife, but it will not hit you as much as the detailer. I don't know which one to comment on, so buy it and try it
Stands for a huge clientele, almost powerful enough to cut a whole head of hair with (over comb). It still can't do very well for facial hair from men who have stubble like tree trunks, but nothing can be fair. The best set of edgers I have had in 12 years. WAHL never fails with me. Favorite company. Andis and other companies break too easily, sometimes within a few weeks. Stay with Wahl for pros!
3. Best all-purpose styler
Wahls shining star in the trimmer market, the # 8081 Detailer comes with a broadleaf and seductive body. Seriously, when it comes to model design, this is a complete winner.
I recommend this and not the Pro 8290 version with which we have experimented. Reason? The extra-wide T-leaf (about 1/4 wider.)
In addition to chrome and burgundy beauty, the Detailers are also very compact. With 5 and only 0.43 lbs, they are the most convenient lining / universal tool you will find. Talk about aesthetics and functionality!
Again, you have the advantage that you get a few accessories. Three auxiliary lines (1/16 ‘, 1/8’ and 1/4 ‘) are waiting for you, along with a brush, blade protector and clipper oil.
The big difference is the rotary engine on which the Detailer rotates.
It is not as powerful as the Outliner, but it also helps to keep the trimmer cooler. In terms of sound, it is comparable to the most popular model of Andis, in contrast to the quiet Razor Edger.
When it comes to hair details, lining, necklines, and others, this machine is a total champion. That is why it is also included in our best list of trimmers.
There is a catch: he exchanges his cooler controls and lightweight, stylish body for sharp knives. In other words, it is slightly more sensitive to irritating skin if you are not careful.
When you get the Detailer, pay attention to the pressure you exert when styling your customers. It is not as forgiving as the T-Outliner to offer the best trimmer options for hairlines.
Questions & Answers
Hello! Can you please tell me if this detailed works in Russia?
This article is intended for use in voltage ranges of 110 -120 and has a standard U.S plug. It won't work in Russia.
does it work well sculpting and maintaining beards?
Yes, it is very precise and the best I have used so far and I have advised many people who will be happy to help you
its work for 220v or 110v ?
Does anyone else have issues with their neck getting torn up after use with this Wahl? Literally leaving a square around edging.
Hello, it may be too sharp for your skin due to the factory setting. In the beginning, when my hairdresser used it on me, it was fine until he reset it for no reason and it cuts my neck badly and I had a terrible pain with bumps for about a week week with my skin peeling dry because of the wounds. Eventually I had to reset it myself to get the right setting and everything went well. Now no cuts, no bumps, no wounds. It works great, so I would recommend that you adjust it to your own comfortable position. Every time you set it up, you have to test it against your skin, as soon as it feels smooth on your skin, it's fine. To set the blade, loosen the entire blade of the trimmer and slightly loosen the small inner blade on the large blade, slide the small blade slightly down by half or 1 millimeter so that both blades are not on top of each other Hatch. Re-tighten the screws. Once that has happened, you will no longer have a problem with the clipper. I hope my answer helps you. Good luck!
Brought to replace andis peanut who died on me yesterday, free shipping on the same day is great, I could add. Was very skeptical about the quality of the clipper, hoping that he would not get used as some claimed here. I was delighted to receive a completely new machine. Very compact, sophisticated look. Silent when switched on and a long-lasting and durable power cord. The striking pre-oiled blades were immediately set to zero and took them for a spin. Blades are clear cutting and a breeze to adjust! Very satisfied with my purchase, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable top alternative to an andis clipper. Would buy again.
I buy this for my boy and I for our own care tasks, from a beard hair that is close to the skin, to the hair that makes the final touches to the edges. However, the ladies of the house liked its use and constantly grabbed the unit. Feminine hygiene tasks put the device on the ring signal. The unit does not reach zero. It seems to be 1/16 offset between the comb and the knife. I do it semi-zero, so I can keep it even closer. We ensure that it is properly cleaned, lubricated and stored in a dry and cool place after each use. The comb cutter goes from person to person and enjoys the 10-second babercide bath, dried and lubricant for storage. Comb-cutter is still strong and sharp after months of use. I will wait to see how long the knife lasts until I have to sharpen it, using the professional sharpening system. The motor is much quieter than the other Wahl Pro trimmer. After 25 minutes of use, the housing of the motor is only lukewarm, compared to my other cutting plotters, which are much warmer, hot on the edge.
Full disclosure I use this trimmer off label. Like a bald man, this beauty allows me to maintain a good looking scalp that is almost as sharp as shaving, while avoiding the barber shop. I tried 3 different trimmers, the Classic 76 with a 0A 1.2mm blade, the Andis T-outliner and this model. Short answer, this is the best for my goal, a long answer to follow. The Classic 76 cuts hair the best of the three, it is what a professional hairdresser would use. If you are going to fade or want to keep a piece of hair for a flat top, this is your unit. It cuts without pulling, it is precise and it has easily interchangeable blades. These run around $ 100 and will last for years. But for a bald man trying to keep a clean look, the lowest 0A 1.2 mm blade is not close enough to give the almost shaved look that I prefer, the Andis unit trims slightly closer than the Wahl, but is substantial heavier and a bit unmanageable. It works well for the dented use of cleaning around the ear, etc. The Wahl unit is light, making it easier to use and carry. A few notes to achieve good results will help you to cut your hair dry and often. If I wait longer than 3 days before cutting, I get a lot of appetite, but if I keep it short, I can keep a very short cut without the inconvenience of shaving with a knife. If you found this review, give positive feedback.

My original message was an expression of concern that the product was not new because it was not packed. The company contacted me ... Initially they came across as rude, but I forgave them ... lol ... Regarding the product ... Turns out ... I just have sensitive skin ... Know you body is the point. I bought them for a bald head and shave ... They had to be an upgrade of my peanuts ... Well ... I'm a rhino. That is not what they are for ... They are specifically meant for edge-ups and getting that sharp line ... I have done an edge on the front of my hair and I also shaved my beard and neck and these things are mega sharp! I mean pulling away and scars ... sharp ... Buuuuut again .. I have sensitive skin so that is on me and not on the product. I have decided to keep them instead of sending them back for 2 reasons ... Before 1 I read somewhere that the blade calms down after some uses ... and 2, although I have pain the first day or after shaving 2 , I do like the closeness I get ... here's the cool part ... I don't put a razor on my face when I get bumps ... these clippers give me that closeness and I get a few bumps, but not like what i would get with a razor ... i also get some cuts and skin peel, but that is much longer story ... Summary ... Buy them if you need a cord or if you are a hairdresser and you want sharp lines .... Buy them if you don't mind hurting your face. Buy them because the price is right because they were the same as when I bought new Peanuts ... And there you go ...

Questions & Answers
is it dual voltage ? 110-220?
Yes it is! Actually I am living in Europe and it works perfectly.
How close does this cut if you are using it to shave? Will it be .5mm or closer?
I'm not sure ... About 1/16 ", but I'd suggest you call Wahl, I'm sure they could help you.
does this work to trim a longer length full beard, or just a tight to the face or stubble trim?
I think it would work well for either of the two, as it comes with a variety of attachments and guides, but usually I do it by free hand when I cut it.
I need more combs for my trimmer, the number 1 trims my beard too low, while the number 2 trims it too high, is there any add' product that I can buy?
The Conair I-Stubble adjusts in increments of .2 mm, which is perfect for keeping a short beard (or the appearance of stubble): http://www.amazon.com/Conair-i-Stubble%C2%AE -Ultimate-Stubble -Control / dp / B004PXIR1W / ref = sr_1_1? I had it with five stars because it deserves it, so it's a shame they have a low-cost power plug. It will not work unless it is doubled in a certain way after a year and a half and, sometimes, it does not stay that way and ends without charging. None of my other devices powered by similar plugs has come out that way, why this one? Other critics say the same thing too. I had to buy a second single to replace it because they do not sell the plug only. It's so good that I would reorder it but I should not.
This hairdresser does everything they say he does. It fits wonderfully and constantly every time. The blades and other inserts cover all types of grooming situations, from whiskers and eyebrows to full beards. It allows me to cut different parts of my beard in different lengths, without anyone being wiser. And the thin micro-cropping heads allow you to reach small places on your face and cut off anything that is bothering you right now. And although it makes noise, it is the quietest of all the trimmers I have ever had. When I bought this one, I debated for a moment if I really had to pay more for all the metal instead of the plastic. I was especially worried when I read that there were many critics who had complained about the formation of rust on their heads. Obviously, I decided to get this metalhead and I'm glad I did. It works very well, and (almost *) has never had a problem. Now he is three years old and still runs and cuts like new; I could not say that for any of the plastic ancestors I've had. And rust is not a problem, the reason is simple: I followed Wahl's guidance and I greased the cut parts once a month with a little oil each; It takes about 75 seconds and that's all I do. It is not a sign of oxidation. * The "almost". The part of the shaver where it is recharged is also a means to prevent the hairdresser from running unnoticed when traveling, so avoid the risk of opening your suitcase and discover that your hairdresser has been left without charge. Somehow, my sensor sometimes thinks that the preparer is in travel mode, even when it is not, which of course prevents one from using it. I found a solution when moving the sensor. After doing it several times during the last months (a little frustrating), I called Wahl, who offered to send me a new hairdresser, although this is not covered by the guarantee. They are clearly behind your product.
It had the oldest model with the round cargo port that finally stopped loading. It lasted several years before I died, so I bought another one thinking that I would get another few years. When it arrived, I was surprised to see that they had updated this model with a new style charger. Instead of a round standard-looking DC connector, it has a trapezoidal plug with 2 separate plugs in the base. Assuming that I solved the problem with the load, I would say that it solved the only problem I had with my previous one. Whenever you clean the trimmer with the supplied brush and grease the blades every few uses, it will stay sharp and last a long time. long time. 5 stars.
This is by far the best electric razor I have ever had. I am the kind of person who does hours and hours of research before basically buying anything, and sometimes it takes a bit of trial and error. I bought the Andis T-Outliner for the first time since it had excellent reviews. It was a beast, but not what I was looking for. If I worked at a hairdresser, I'm sure I would have loved it. But I just want a high-quality electric razor for domestic use to keep my beard tamed. So, I returned the Andis One and got this one and I am very happy that I did it. This thing is very impressive. When you hold it for the first time in your hand, you immediately notice the high quality. It has the right weight and the stainless steel body is very elegant and resistant. It comes with tons of protective trimmers, so you are sure to trim your beard to the perfect length and fade away if necessary. He also has a hair cutter on his nose and a shaving attachment for stubble on his neck. I could not be more satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

Questions & Answers
Anybody use this shaver with the Pro-Mate blade designed to fit the Styliner II?
is this used to shave your face?
Is this a cordless trimmer?
No! It has a cord. It's a grater. I bought it.
Can you shave your private parts with this trimmer?
Yes, if you have a good knife on your trimmer
Is this product for dual voltage that is 100-220 voltage use?
If it were, it would say that on the back. If it doesn't assume it isn't. Plus. If you use a power inverter, it may not work as well and you can still burn it out. Make sure there is 220
I have gone through a number of clippers in recent years, using everything from beard trimmers to other respected clippers (Oster Fast Feed was not effective as a balding clipper and stopped working in less than a year). I was looking for a sheer clipper to shave my head as close as possible and finally decided this product after reading a number of reviews. So far I have been very impressed with the performance of this product. It gives a smooth, smooth shave and is extremely smooth and easy to use. It has left no gash marks or large spots on my skin, and still manages to give a very smooth shave. One thing to keep in mind is that it is not adjustable, so it is best for lining, shaping and shaving.
Great linings, but unfortunately I dropped them and broke the knife. I have replaced the knife but they do not cut like they initially did. My suggestion is that you take good care of these liners when they do a fantastic job!
I have received this as a secondary tool and it is not as sharp as I am but it is good for cutting hair and blurring the neck of the neck. If there is anything, they can always be adjusted so that they come closer. I think it's great that it stays cool longer. Shipment was a breeze. It arrived exactly on time
Used this regularly in high school and decided to come back after a few years and more than enough shavers. Works well with the Remington Pre-shave stick and after zero gaps. However, it causes irritation and is not nearly as fast or efficient as a good shaver, such as the Braun Series 7 - 790cc Pulsonic Shaver System (which I recommend). Also good for the line.

They are remarkable because of their ability to produce professional styling tools on a consistent basis.
In fact, most stylists, trimmers, and hairdressers have stated that they use nothing other than Oster styling products because the company’s products help them deliver the best results for them.
- Adjustable steel blade can be moved from 000 to 1
- It has a structured housing that provides easy grip
- The trimmer cuts through all hair types
- It has a powerful engine that delivers powerful performance
- The trimmer is somewhat heavy, but this does not affect the performance.
Questions & Answers
How many clipper guards does it come with?
need clippers for ultra fine older gents hair. thinning and fine. all el cheapos just pass over the hair, not through it! help please?
I used it has a beard trimmer and to remove the few hairs that protrude from the top of my very bald head. It is the best machine I have ever used. It cuts off those few fine hairs at the top.
Does anyone know of any good quality after market guide combs that fit this product?
Yes. Many people use the Andis magnetic guards. I don't have those, I think the watchmen are fine. However, I have not used a guard since I started bald!
I will be doing a bald fade. i am comparing these to the andis fade master. which would be best? thanks.
This blade, although adjustable, is not completely "zero opening". If that answers your question.
I have been using a hair trimmer for years and I have experienced many things that did not satisfy me. I have had several Philips and a number of other less well-known brands, but they all inevitably failed. One that I had was cordless and had the obvious problem that all battery-operated devices have the battery stopping the charge at some point, the hair clipper slowing down, not cutting properly etc. -Battery- hair trimmers would cut well in the beginning, but then they would work poorly and keep pinching my hair constantly. This Oster trimmer is the first to not only have worked well for two years, but the first I chose to trim again after I lost the first to move to a new apartment. It works well, it's powerful and it won't let you down. Thumbs up! UPDATE 9/2/2016: I am still happy with this trimmer. As another reviewer noted, it is very important to regularly unscrew it and give it good lubrication. At a certain point it didn't start to cut so well. I had not oiled it for almost a year, so I unscrewed it, removed the hairs that were trapped in it, gave it a quick oil (using coconut oil), and after reassembly, it was MUCH better cut. Just like any other mechanical device, it must be taken care of periodically. As long as you do that, this trimmer will be of good service to you.2nd UPDATE 8/12/2017: This clipper is still going strong and I am still very happy with it! If you found this review useful, please click yes.
And last but not least! Something good enough to replace my 20+ year old cone clippers. In the past 10 years I have bought 2 or 3 other clippers that could not match the quality of my old clippers. These hair clippers cut silently, smoothly and did not go away my scalp is red with wear. They are just as heavy as my old conair, and seem built to last. They will not make a zero opening (which is not really a problem, but it means that the comb and teeth of the blade will not wear evenly)) This clipper has 2 fading positions (not as much as my conair, but sufficient). The plastic clips fit precisely, but the teeth on the attachable combs do not match the vane teeth (lazy design technique). These hair clippers do not come with a box or a bag. I am very satisfied with the purchase. It is rare to find quality when everything is made disposable.
The $ 20 Wal-Mart Red and Black Andis clippers lasted less than a year before they started to get painfully loud and hold my hair. These quick oysters are much better and shave like butter. Quiet operation and it has a thick power cord that is now Quality. I have purchased the upgrade for a white ceramic disc but have not yet installed it. The standard setup did not warm me up at all. I suspect the blade upgrade is recommended for commercial use.
Because I don't style my hair and anyway, I decided to cut my own hair instead of going to a hairdresser, paying too much, and rolling the dice if it even looked decent. I use this every few weeks to look fresh and have not had any problems with the actual clipper in my eighteen months since I used it. That said, I recommend buying additional guides that will be less thin - I bought the "Oster Professional 76926-800 Guide Combs" from Amazon and they have been pretty good. My only problem was a time when I went back and forth and my guide went off - leaving a very clear hair behind my neckline that made triage necessary. Pro tip - only push forward, not back. These too are not great for trimming beards and I would recommend a special device for that task.

Questions & Answers
Are they good clippers for bald heads
They approach almost as much as a razor without the hassle. I had a pair for about five years and I replaced them with them because I like them a lot. But as others have said, they will cut you off if you enter the wrong angle and apply a lot of pressure.
How well does this product work for Black men with sensitive skin? My boyfriend wears a bald head and is especially susceptible to razor bumps
I've had that set of Wahl clippers for about a month and I've used them 3 times. I am very happy with them. They do not cut the skin like a razor blade, but cut the hair very short, leaving a kind of "5 o'clock shadow".
So where do I get gaurds/guides for this clipper?
Daniel you can buy them at amazon.com. I have never used them personally. I bought the baldness clippers because I wanted to finish what nature had already started. Can someone here feel a turn?
are these clippers fairly quiet?
Yes, they have a very quiet buzzing sound profile.
I still have a full head of hair, but I like to shave my head and I've been shaving my head intermittently for 15 years, and this cutter is perfect for the look I want: what it is to shave my head as short as possible. as possible, while you still leave a stubble very, very, very light that you can still distinguish my line of hair. And this cutter does it because it comes with Wahl's shortest blade, which is a 6x0 blade that cuts to .2mm. In addition, the guide combs make it very easy to make several types of fades, if you choose. And the V5000 engine that comes with this clipper is powerful and gives you a NICE, SOFT and VERY ISOLATED, WITHOUT SPEAKING THE SIZE IN ANY WAY. For those people who complain about cutting their scalp with this clipper, I think: 1) they are holding the clipper incorrectly, 2) they are using the wrong angle, 3) their blades are not aligned correctly, or 4) a combination of a or more of those things. Also, for those people who give this clipper a bad review because they do not shave their heads like Mr. Clean, use a razor blade, not a clipper. Because no matter which cutter or trimmer you buy, you will NEVER shave your head like a razor blade because you have to have a lower blade and an upper cutting blade, and no matter how thin someone can make the lower blade, it will ALWAYS be between your scalp and the upper cutting blade. Basically, you are giving this clipper a bad review because you expect this clipper to do something it is not designed for. That would be like buying a supercharged Hemi V8 and then complaining about fuel consumption. Anyway, the cutter feels strong and well made although it is made of plastic. And it fits comfortably in both my hands and the power cord is much thicker and longer (8 feet) than my other buzzers, which is good. And I was a little worried about warming up the cutter with its strongest motor, but it stayed cool during my 35 to 40 minute shave. I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND this clipper for those people who do not look for a Mr. Clean look but a very, very short shaved head. For all others, USE A SHEET OF RAZOR.P.S. I added a couple of images in the client's image section after using the 5-star series baldness cutter to give people an idea of how short this cutter cuts. I hope that helps.
This is my second purchase of this clipper. I bought my first Wahl 5-Star Balding Clipper last June, so it lasted about a year. Yes, I'm disappointed because it only lasted a year, but the money I saved by going to the hairdresser made up for the loss. If I do not get at least 2 years this time, I'll move to Andi's Masters, which is the cream of the crop in the hair clippers ... even if it's about double the price of this Wahl. Here are some tips if you buy this trimmer: 1) Adjust the blades before using. There are some Youtube videos that can guide you in the proper setting.2) Clean and grease the blades after each use. It is not necessary to remove the blades each time. Use the small brush to clean the hairs3) Do not keep the device in the bathroom. Keep it stored in a dry place away from moisture. Otherwise, the blades may rust. 4) Every month, remove the blades for a complete cleaning. Use compressed air to remove all hairs trapped in the unit5) If your unit heats up during moderate use (less than 5 minutes), it is a sign that it should be cleaned. Do not expect him to get as close as wet shaving If you like only a very clear shadow, like my wife, then this trimmer is perfect. If my second unit does not last, I will change my opinion to 2 stars. For a $ 50 trimmer, I expect it to last at least 2 years with moderate use (approximately once a week).
Very good job I will not use a razor again. No cuts or wounds or drama. It exceeded my expectations. However, I was disappointed that it did not come with a case. I'll use the one that came with my $ 20 clippers.
I'm glad I ignored the negative reviews, this product was just what I was looking for. I shaved my head without a guard and felt it cut my hair shorter than other scissors I had used in the past. I have been shaving my head without guard for about 10 years and I was worried about the purchase because some of the pictures that people posted with their heads were cut off. I tried it on the upper part of the thigh before using it on the head and it had no scratches, so I did it with my head. High quality clippers and I would definitely recommend or buy again. I'm not sure what the people who scratched there were doing, but I have not had any problems. Great product, good price and mowers are paid only after a few haircuts. If you're looking to comb your hair, these are not for you, but if you're just trying to get attention, definitely buy.

Questions & Answers
Is this machine good to trim around the neck hair?
For that I would use a conventional razor and shaving foam
description says cordless but the pic shows a cord? what is it
It has a cord. A good length and sturdy. I prefer the cord because it has a consistent power - if it makes sense. It is a workhorse!
Has anyone used this on kids?
yes, you can use it on children. you don't have as many attachments as on a normal size clipper, but if the attachments are absolutely what you are looking for. don't let the small size fool you is a very powerful unit. I know several stylists who use it for trimming and for haircuts
Is this good for removing beards
Everything I use on mine. Works well.
I am a victim of too much testosterone in my system while I am in the womb, so I suffer from male pattern baldness. I'm tired of shaving my head. It takes a long time, and I'm tired of buying razor cartridges. This trimmer is great for people like me who want what hair you have left behind as short as possible, without resorting to shaving. It gives a length of about a day of growth, if you really had shaved with a razor. On average, I use it twice a week to ensure that I don't look fifteen years older than me (currently 30). If you are looking for a trimmer to do this, I would 100% recommend this trimmer. Ultimately, if the blades are boring, I will be able to switch them off easily and quickly, unlike many other trimmers. Do yourself a favor and buy this trimmer.
These work perfect for cutting my own Pixie at home. Here's how I do it. Lift the entire crown and attach it in a rubber band to get rid of it. Use the largest peanut cutting comb in downward movements for a scruff-looking neck (or cut up for a close shave look.) Remove the rubber band from your crown. Cut an area of about 4 cm long with scissors that hold the hair upright as if it had static electricity. I did this perfectly the first time I used the Peanut. Four weeks later I felt invincible, I grabbed the shaver, tucked it in, and FORGOTTEN THAT THE COMB TIP WAS ON. Yes, I cut a huge bald spot in the back of my head. Whoo Hoo! I had never laughed so hard in my life. don't sue me if this happens to you.
It works great and gives you a really good finish to cut your hair the way you want. The reason for giving it 4 stars is that the area where we have attached the clipper is so delegate. Everything became disturbed while I removed the clipper. It took me some time to understand how to solve it, but you have to be extra careful when dealing with changing the clipper. Otherwise it is a small and fun product to try.
I bought this in September 2012. It is now January 2018 and it works exactly as it was when I first bought it. Fantastic product.

Questions & Answers
can you ise standard wahl guards on this? (the ones that dont have the metal)
Yes, the metal blade protector is the same as other Wahl hair clippers, so the plastic clips fit.
which is better this one Elite or Andis Envy, I dont know waht clipper to buy. this can be used as a professional clipper?
We just buy Wahl Elite and love it!
can I use the wahl elite pro for beard trimming and cutting ?
Hell yes. With this hair clipper my beard trimmer looks like a toy. It has ten clickable combs that allow different lengths. I would highly recommend it for use as a beard trimmer.
My blade broke, is there a part number for the blade so I can replace it?
The replacement blade for the Elite Pro is number 01045. It can be ordered on Amazon B000CEMQBK or B001L8ND0E. Or you can buy it at Wahl. Contact details for Wahl is 1-800-767-9245 (US only) or 1-815-625-6525 (outside the US).
After almost a decade of replacing cheaper clipper sets every 2-3 years, I finally decided to buy a more expensive set. I'm glad I did! Even if they last just as long as cheaper ones, there are a handful of things I would like to pay the higher price for. If it matters, I cut my own hair, and have this for as long as I can remember, so my feedback comes from that context. I don't cut someone else's hair and I tend to cut more often (every 5-6 days), so I only need minor adjustments versus having to do a whole cut. Here's what I like about this Vs. cheaper sets that I have used in the past: 1. Better / stronger engine. Part of the reason why I so often replaced cheaper sets is that they would eventually pull my hair, regardless of the right leaf oil and sharpening. I immediately felt a difference in how smoother this cut was, especially during faster movements. Stronger, smoother closed and open adjustment of the shield - feels much more reliable than what I am used to cheaper sets. No matter how small or large the adjustment is, the watch remains in place after it has been adjusted. Guard combs that stay in place, finally! On the cheaper Wahl clippers I always had to worry about combs from the guard who came from b / c and that happened every now and then. The combs of the guard in this set snap into place much more firmly and have remained perfectly in place.4. 1/2 and 1 & 1/2 guards are included. These offer more flexibility and safety when fading. In my case, I spend much less time switching back and forth between 0, 1 and 2 gaurds - the half guards hit the midpoints much better and faster.5. Heavier feeling. I appreciate this b / c I have big hands. The heavier feeling of this provides better guidance, especially during faster movements. I have only used this a handful of times so far, but I am still very impressed. Absolutely recommendable.
I personally bought this in a store. First of all, of all the brands at different prices that ive owned, id says by far that I personally think that Wahl is the best. With regard to this elite pro model in particular, I am very impressed. His engine seems much stronger than other models, he cuts through my hair with little effort and without hooking. Other hair clippers that I had would hook my hair or go through it without being cut (I have straight, thin hair). I do like the metal tab on the back of the attachments because it makes the clipper better seems to stick to the ordinary plastic style, but I don't like that there are NO tapered ear mounts as I used with previous models to give the area around my ears a cleaner appearance. Experience the fact that you have a few of these just a tip, never use oil to lubricate the blades other than oil specially made for hair clippers. Also, do not apply the oil directly from the bottle to the blades. The oil bottle is sealed in a small bag with a small black brush, put only one or two drops of oil on that brush and then brush the oil on the blades with the clipper OFF, you are looking for only a very light coating. Then switch on the trimmer and let it run for a few seconds without attachments to help the oil lubricate the blades more evenly.2-9-19 update: still powerful! How many things have you purchased lately that have lasted more than a few years?
After watching so many YouTube videos on how to cut a toddler's hair, I finally decided to buy this clipper and I love it! Very user-friendly and of good quality for the price I paid. I was afraid to use it of course the first time. I was afraid that I would injure my son, but it was very safe and I got used to it immediately. My son's hair has become amazing. No more bowl cuts and no more expensive hairdresser.
I just received this today and my review will repeat many previous reviews, both good and unfortunately bad. I was impressed by how solid all the attachments felt and was briefly impressed by the solid feeling of the unit itself. for a quick trim, and cut the hair with ease. I was quite satisfied on this front. My only complaint and -1 star is due to the fact that, like others, I had a damaged attachment directly from the bag, of course the much needed "1/2" piece. As you can see in the photos, a "tooth" had fallen straight out of the bag into which it came, and I am not sure if this is clearly visible in the photo, but it remains BAREL. Have others been successful in replacing this piece? Furthermore, I am impressed by the product so far.

Questions & Answers
How much hertz is this machine
The Color Pro Clipper is 60 Hz. For more information, contact Wahl via [email protected]
shortest guide size
Hello, the shortest guide is 1/16 inch. The shaver itself has an adjustment lever that, if not used, can shave any adapter closer. This hair clipper works great. I hope this helps.
What is the cord length?
Yes, it is long enough, it is more than 80 centimeters, 7 feet long. It should buy its very good product. I cut my hair every week and work very well for that price, and it comes with lots of clips for the machine, so it's worth the price. PS sorry for my english, not very good at ... hope i helped you, need something i can know, just write back ..
is it 110-240 volts?
It is 110v
I cut my own hair in the last year or so and I decided to replace my old clippers. I came across this and with all the good reviews and decent price, I decided to give it a try. It comes with a lot of accessories, really nice. The combs and scissors feel a bit cheap, but that's not such a problem. What really bothered me about this purchase were the guards. The guards are very thin and I feel the individual "bristles", for lack of a better word, wiggling as I cut the sides of my head. This becomes pretty annoying, because I constantly have to cross the same spot on my head to get an even cut. Otherwise, these hair clippers are pretty good. I'm probably going to buy the next layer of Wahl because I can't get over these thin guards.
Wahl makes very good clippers. This set comes with everything you need to give yourself or someone else a great haircut. Decide for yourself how short you want your hair and choose the matching comb. The combs with different dimensions make it easy to blur the sides in a longer top length. If you perform a buzz cut, you'll get a great cut in minutes. It cuts the hair very quickly and does not pull at all. This clipper pays for itself with only 2 haircuts. Just keep the blades oiled, and it will last for years. Watch a few video clips on YouTube and you'll see how easy it is to give yourself a nice looking haircut. I look forward to saving a lot of money over the years with this clipper set.
Wahl is cheaping out!!! This replaced a 12 year old Wahl that I've gotten a lot of use out of. The quality of this unit is not even close to the old one I had. Sad, I would spend more for quality. It does what it's supposed to do but I don't expect it to last for the 12 years my previous Wahl lasted for.
I'm not sure why this product has low reviews! In fact, when I read them, I hesitated to buy it. The color-coded guards really sold me. So I bought it. And I'm glad I did it. The noise level is very tolerable. The instructions are very thorough. I HAVE VIEWED A FEW YOUTUBE VIDEOS BELOW. That is a must. Otherwise you will mess it up. After I watched the videos and printed a piC. I was ready for what my son wanted his hair to look like. It took about 5 minutes to become familiar with all the different protectors, leaf oil (OIL YOUR LEAVES FOR USE AFTER INSTRUCTIONS). GO LONG. YOU CAN ALWAYS SHORT UP IF NECESSARY. The kit includes different guards, all colors coordinated, 3 finely toothed combs, barrettes, hair scissors and an apron for your client. I have to admit that it took me a while to do his first haircut, I was extra careful and maybe took longer than necessary. First I did the back and the sides. I made a piece on each side of his head and cut the hair back. I used that part to know when to stop shaving. I then cut and styled his hair on the top (again by watching a YOUTUBE video) and then I went back and used the right and left ear protector to cut around the ears, framed his neck and dressed his sideburns up. DONE! I thought it looked cute and most importantly he loved it !! I would recommend everyone to use these because they are very durable, come with a small bottle of leaf oil (I bought one anyway) and are perfect for cutting hair at home to avoid the exuberant price of hairstyles nowadays. This is a very good product !! Two thumbs up!
The best edgers for barbers Tips
Customers develop a relationship of trust with their hairdresser.
A good haircut can give them a head start in every situation, from meeting someone special to recording a job interview.
You need tools to achieve the hottest new styles. Word of mouth is the best way to attract new customers, so if a customer is satisfied, they can improve your brand.
The Best Edgers For Barbers helps you build a customer base and develop a good reputation.
Investing in the best edger and knowing how to use it is a necessity for everyone, for every hairdresser.
Before you purchase the best edgers for barbers, there are some factors that you should consider.
- The price: this is a factor in almost every product. You want to choose a product based on the size of your budget. The overview timers shown here vary considerably in price, depending on the number of functions and versatility. Therefore, regardless of what you choose, make sure it fits your budget.
- Corded/Cordless: it is a very important factor to consider whether a wire trimmer is wired or wireless. If you have an outlet and buy a trimmer, maybe use it in the bathroom or at home, having a bearded beard will not hurt you. However, if you buy a beard to use it outdoors, especially where there is no outlet, you should concentrate on a wireless trimmer as this is more convenient.
- Comb settings: Overview timers have a wide range of comb settings, and this is very important if you are not affected. Comb settings determine how long or how short your beard will be; so they must be viewed properly. For example, if you are this person who likes a stubble look, the trimmer you buy should have length settings that are small enough to help you achieve that specific look. On the contrary, if you are looking for a long, thick beard, the trimmer you buy must help achieve this look. Some of the aforementioned summary timers have removable heads to help you get the much-needed stubble.
- Maintenance: it is a fact that nobody wants a trimmer that is difficult to maintain. It is annoying when you buy a trimmer, but a few days later it begins to depreciate and even to hook and pull it. Therefore, you should look extensively at the cleaning and maintenance functions to avoid future regrets. Fortunately, most of the aforementioned trimmers are easy to maintain.
- Styling features: If you want to keep a beard in traditional style and you are not interested in shaving funky, unique patterns in it, a trimmer that you choose should not have attachments that appear in different sizes and shapes. However, if you are interested in keeping a certain type of beards, such as a goatee or a prickly, you must have attachments or functions with a clipper to achieve and maintain your desired style.
Now you know exactly what to look for when buying a contour trimmer.
View them well, and you will not get lost as far as it comes to getting a desired, best performing and efficient pruning shear.
It is always important to do thorough research before working on a product. This increases your chances of taking a better quality product home.
These 10 Best Edgers For Barbers reviews give you the opportunity to search for a product that impresses you the most and whose price does not have a devastating effect on your wallet.
After reading these reviews and finally receiving your product, you will agree with me that you can look good without having to break the bank.
