Trying to decide between cordless and corded. Anyone have problems with speed or power with the cordless?

I've owned both a Corded Wahl and this Cordless. While the corded wire might be a little more powerful, the lack of the tangled cord more than makes up for it. I can use this several times without charging. It is very greasy and works great. I use this to trim my beard without a guard so I can shave, and I use a #3 to trim my beard to length. Super easy to use.

This kit normally sells for $28.40 at Home Depot .... this is scalping price. (pun intended) Question?

Reported to Amazon Customer Service today about a price hike. Here's their answer - done, it has been successfully escalated to the website team and requested them to take strict action against that seller regarding the price gouging. It's $30.9 HKYY on the Wahl USA site.

Is this good for beards?

Yes, it is good for beards.

Does this work both with 110v and 220v for out of the us?

Battery chargers are relatively low-power devices compared to things like hair dryers and space heaters. A simple power adapter works fine for anything that doesn't rely on the 60Hz alternating cycle for things like clocks, timers, or high-precision motors, such as the drive motors in cheaper CD/DVD, phonograph or video tape players that only work correctly on North -American or Japanese power grids.

Does the light go off when fully charged? Mine has been charging for a day and a half and still shows that it’s charging.

This is exactly what happens with mine. The light will never change color even if charged for a day or two and it will stay that way - there's no way to tell if it's still charging or when it's fully charged.

What kind of battery it is using? How long it takes for full charge?

The Cordless ColorPro clipper uses a Ni-MH battery. We recommend that you charge your clipper for 12-15 hours when you first get it. When the clipper is not in use, it must be connected to the cord to ensure maximum power when in use. The cord is designed to charge the battery continuously, without overcharging.

Since this item is regularly $39 and you are charging $170, you are price gouging correct?

This item sells for $30.99 on Wahl's site. This is price gouging. There are many states where this practice is illegal!!!

Is it as noisy as the corded version of the same? [79300]

Mine was about as quiet as my corded version, but after I removed the blade and replaced it (following the instructions to familiarize yourself with the process), it's a lot louder. I did everything I could to get it back to normal but it seems to be loose. returning.

Is there a metric version? I’ve been using a 1mm w/ my Wahl beard trimmer.

These are the guide combs supplied with this kit and their metric versions No. 1/2 -1/16in (1.5 mm)-Black: No. 1 -1/8in (3 mm)-Red: No 1 1/2 - 3/16 inch (4.5 mm) - Black: No. 2 - 1/4 inch (6mm) - Purple: No. 3 - 3/8 inch (10mm) - Dark Blue: No. 4 - 1/2 inch (13 mm) - Orange: No. 5 - 5/8 inch (16mm) - Yellow: No. 6 - 3/4 inch (19mm) - Lavender: No. 7 - 7/8 inch (22 mm) - Green: No. 8 - 25mm (1 inch) If you need more information, please contact Wahl at [email protected]

How long can hair be , too short?

My hair was about 6 to 8 inches long. I put on the 1 inch plastic blade guard and went all over my head. I went slowly so as not to jam the clippers. It worked fine for me.
