Anyone knows what the bristles are made of? Is it synthetic or made of boar?
It does not smell like wild boar. It can be a mixture, the brush smells like a mixture of polyethylene.
Is this made in the USA?
This is the response I received from the owner ... "Our products are conceptualized and designed in the USA, and produced in China to allow us to offer a competitive price. for our products without compromising quality. " I would have loved to support American small businesses!
Does this come with scissors, or is the picture false advertising?
It comes with everything in the picture. Including scissors. Actually, they are not that bad. I loved all of this, including the scissors.
Got my beard to a good length, just wanted to know which end of comb to use to clean up ends or how i should go about approaching this?
The brush is good for short beards and the wide-spaced nipple comb is good for a long, thick beard. The side with the narrow gap is good for a beard with very fine hair.
What are the exact dimensions?
The width of the Viking Revolution brush is 2 inches and the length is 4 1/2 inches.
Is the comb wood? The description says it's wood. I got a plastic one. Plus the brush and box were already opened (plastic was gone).
As a gift for our son last Christmas, yes, I think the comb was made of wood. I know our son is very fond of waxes. HOWEVER, your purchase is different. He had four cans of beard waxes with different scents. So I'm not 100% sure that your purchase is the same. Sorry
I have this, I find the brush a bit too rough, are there any other products which are softer but also firm?
I have found the Beard Field oval brush to work well with a medium length trimmed beard. The Viking Revolution Small Rectangular Brush is ideal for a longer medium thickness beard type.
can you use the scissor for nose and ear hairs?
You could, but the scissors are very poor quality. If you are buying this primarily for scissors, I would look elsewhere.
Will the comb fit in my wallet?
I don't think it's comfortable. The center is about 3/4 of a centimeter thick, 10 cm long, and 6 cm wide. It does not have any flexibility, so it would be very unpleasant to sit on it.
What level of firmness are the bristles of the boar's hair brush?
On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being extremely firm and 1 being soft, I would say they are around 6 or 7. They are firm enough to comb the beard, but soft enough that it won't scratch your face. Depending on how hard or soft you press it on your face, it can go up to a 9 or be as soft as a 4.
