The Philips Norelco Beard & Stubble trimmer options DualCut blades, for a quick or even trim. Spin the zoom wheel to fasten in duration settings at three/sixty four”(1mm) increments. Powered through a Lithium Ion battery for 90 mins of cordless use.
Is this newer technology than the 3100 and 3500 beard trimmers? And what is the shortest setting?
Hello. Yes, this is currently the new Barba PHILIPS trimming has available. The shortest adjustment without the guard is 0.5mm.
Can this trimmer be used on wet skin/facial hair?
Hello. To obtain an optimal result, we recommend that you use the device on dry hair. If the apparatus is used in wet or humid hair, its performance decreases.
How often do we need to oil the blades?
Hello! It does not need the blades, as they are sharp, for a lasting performance.
Does it come with a charging stand?
Hello! No, this beard cutter and NORELCO stubble does not include a loading bracket.
Im confused by the lengths. Since without the guard its .5mm, then with the guard the lowest setting is 1mm or 1.5mm? and 2nd setting is 2mm or 2.5?
10 The length settings of 0.5-10mmGuard are removable. So the specification is correct. 0.5mm to 10 mm is not a surgical shaving unit, but it becomes quite close. The battery life is good, the load rate is good. It works well for approximately 1 week on the battery, perhaps more. I have a full beard and do well in the cuts between the styles.
Is the newer and better than the mutigroom 7000 beard trimmer?
Hello! This is the updated NORELCO PHILIPS beard trimmer.
Hi. Does anyone know if I can buy a replacement of the guard (comb) for this trimmer? Thank you.
Hey. You can probably buy one directly from the Philips Norelco website. This is better for not trying to buy it from Amazon. I think that's all. But not 100% sure that this is exactly exactly ..https: //philips.encompass.com/item/11829088/norelco/422203632641/ If you want to be 100% safe, you probably need to contact Norellco and verify that it is Exactly correct part Best wishes
Is this newer and better than the 5100 series?
No and not
what do numbers mean on the dial
Hello! The numbers in the dial are the settings of 11 lengths ranging from 0.5 mm to 10 mm.
Confused about the numbers, does 1 translate to 1.0 mm? And does it let you hit the 0.5 mm increments?
In general terms, most shrimp of hair will increase the hair length approx. 3-4mm for each protector ” ” that increases. Which means that the difference between a protector 1 and 2 will be approximately 3-4 mm in length. This, of course, depends on the brand. The lower the protection / Clipper, the closer the fit (or shorter of your hair). For example, a configuration of 2 will leave your hair 3-4 mm longer, then a protector 1. For reference, 3 mm is approximately 1/8 inch. That said, do not trust that this razor gives you exact lengths like a salon quality cutter. If your goal is to leave your hair a very specific length, then it is better with a higher number first and then cut down (check the configuration) until you achieve a number or length you want.
