What's the differences between this model to older ones? They all seem to be the same in a way.
Well... the biggest difference for me is that the old ones had the flip open blades. My old one constantly opened while shaving and threw the clipped whiskers into my shirt. The other differences are the interchangeable heads. No pop-out trimmer. Now they have added a trimmer/beard shaver that is adjustable in length. A nice addition to the shaving system if you occasionally wear a beard like me. I hope this helps.
How close does this get compared to a razor?
I'm a woman, I use it on my legs... I'd say it comes as close without worrying about nicks and cuts.
How do you clean the heads of the shaver
Run it under the water or take the top off and let it run under the water. It's waterproof.
Is it good for use on the head?
It is very gentle and easily removes the very light hair on the back of my neck and in areas where my previous shaver would just slide over it. If you are looking for a very close, yet gentle shave, I would recommend this.
How well does this work for you head?
It depends on your head, the battery may run out if your head is that big
Does it come with Europen plug?
Hey! No, the Philips Norelco 6800 (S6880/81) does not come with a European plug. You should buy an adapter for the device.
Need Braun series 549 class2 power unit for my shaver,do you have one?
Search for "Braun series 549 class2 power unit". By the way, apparently 549 is the model number of the power unit, not the shaver.
DOEs this come with extra heads
NEW! THE REASON I Bought MY THIRD RAZOR WAS HIS WORK AND NEED A NEW HEAD. THE LAST HEAD LAST YDEL YEAR
Is the just a plain stand for this shaver without the charger?
there is no grandstand. you just plug it in and let it sit on the counter. There is a light on the shaver that indicates how much charge is left. charging lasts a long time. once a week or less.
Good for shaving neck?
Hey! Yes, the shaving head follows the curves of your face and even pulls hair in hard-to-reach areas such as the neck and jawline.
