I have problems wearing sunscreen on my face (eyes water constantly) and am very sensitive to fragrance. Is this perfumed?
How well does it stay?
It is definitely perfumed, but even though I really hate fragrances, I still use it because I find it so easy to apply. The fragrance is quite light and does not seem to linger and does not bother my eyes.
Stick's light layer doesn't feel like "rub around". How do u get every spot? e.g. face, w/out rub to spread?
Keep in mind that this is really best for the face and neck, not large areas of the body. The surface of the Roth stick is actually quite large in relation to the face, it is not difficult to make contact with the whole skin of your face and neck. That said, there is a slight oiliness in the moments after the first application, so you can use that minute to rub your face a little.
Does anyone have any experience storing this inside their car on a hot summer day, like 90+ degrees outside? I am wondering if the product may melt?
Most sticks are designed not to melt to enhance their appeal. I haven't experienced any melting myself (hottest was probably ~110F in a parked car, but I didn't open it until much later completely cooled), and the melting points of the first three ingredients are ~150C, 62 C, and 70 C, or 302 F, 143 F and 158 F respectively. Based on the ingredients, I'd expect it to get a little softer but not slushy (think chilled molasses) rather than liquefy at temperatures over 90-100F; it may also darken slightly with prolonged/repeated exposure as beeswax is prone to discoloration when heated.
Will this product clog the pores? Is it "breathable?"
For me, it doesn't clog pores, it's much less greasy than most others. I have problems with acne on my nose but I have never had problems with clogged pores with this product. It's a good idea to use this on the face and a little more gently on the rest of the body.
how far does 1.5 oz go? As far as a lotion sunscreen?
New. I have been using it 2-4 times a week with my grandchildren (5 and 7) for about six months and have already gone through 2 or 3. Applying is easy, but since it's translucent it's also hard to see where I've missed it, especially on the face and ears, so I have to apply twice. But we (kids and I) like these so much that I bought them for their parents too. Expensive investments in skin health, but only Neutrogena makes this type.
i need sunscreen for a week on the beach. how much product should i get?
One is enough. I've been using it for a full week in Virginia Beach and still have a lot left.
This is an fsa (flexible spending account) item when bought at walgreens. question: does amazon receipt say it is fsa in order to get reimbursement?
I have no idea. I bought these months ago. I would recommend that you contact Amazon.
What color is this stuff? Is it clear or white?
It is clear and not greasy. Very good product.
What's a unit?
A unit is the number of containers of this product, or how many 1.5 oz solid sticks you will receive in your order.
I ordered this once beofre and like it, but the "new" item had an expired use date on it. Are all these expired?
Send it back to amazon for a refund. I am a regular subscriber and the service works for me. Although I have no problems with the product, I have problems with the delivery. Many different problems. Several times the stick fell into my palm. Once the dial was jammed and wouldn't open. Another time (the most recent) my stick was completely broken in half, vertically, so the dial didn't work to push on. Delivery has problems. Please explain your problem, Amazon should help if it is a valid problem
