Product Description

Scent:Bergamot

A refreshing blend of bergamot and amber with complementing notes of cooling eucalyptus, patchouli and clove.

Its this a cream soap or a lather cream ?

It's a container of thick cream that (like I've used) you put on your shaving brush and then lather on your face. It's not as "creamy" as the stuff that comes out of a can, but it holds well and gives a very close shave. And it smells delicious.

Does this product have alcohol

Shaving soaps/creams generally do not contain alcohol (as alcohol would prevent foaming), which is usually reserved for aftershave.

What is the container made out of and is it recyclable?

Plastic. It is not mentioned that it is recyclable.

It arrived totally liquid due to heat.. can I put in fridge to solidify, or is it meant to be that way?

I had the same situation a few weeks ago. Apparently it was sitting in the sun in the van and was liquid when it got to my door. All I did was put it in a bathroom drawer and the next morning it was fine. It solidified to what would be expected for this type of shaving cream and showed no ill effects.

Is a brush needed to apply?

No, a brush is not necessary. The jar contains instructions for use with or without a brush.

How does this compare to the Art of Shaving cream? Has anyone tried both?

I use it every day shaving cream

Can someone tell me the list of ingredients please? Thanks!

From the back of the package: Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Stearic Acid, Myristic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Coconut Fatty Acid, Glycerin, Parfum (Fragrance), Triethanolamine, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylheylglycerin, Citronellol, Hexyl Cinnamon, Hydroxycitronellal, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Limonene, Linalool. Phew/wish I had read a previous comment! It is made in England.

What does this smell like? Please write more that it's smells nice, or something similar. Thank you.

Smells like a masculine old herbal scent and to be honest it's the best of the other scents. The sandalwood and rum smell is weak, stick to the original..
