Why does it say 5% retinol under "for those looking for a proven retinol" yet 2.5% in the title?

You need to understand the deception these companies use to promote their products. The product as a whole is about 0.25% retinol. If you notice they don't say "this cream is 2.5% retinol", they say it contains "2.5% retinol" meaning it is one ingredient and when mixed with the rest of the cream results in a concentration of about 0.25%. Most of these have a concentration of 0.25% to 0.5%. The highest a person will put on their face is 1% and some of the better ones have this concentration. To compete with this, the companies selling weaker ones resort to fake numbers to trick you into buying it. You could accuse them of lying, but technically what they say is "true", just not the truth.

what are the complete ingredients?? I want the list, not just the key ingredients. Thank you :)

Here is the COMPLETE ingredients list the company emailed me: Organic Aloe Vera, Organic Sunflower Oil, Retinol, Palm Oil, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Vitamin C (Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate), Botanical Hyaluronic Acid, Organic Jojoba Oil, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Shea Butter Wildcrafted Green Tea, Wildcrafted Propolis, Vitamin E (d-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate), Vitamin B5 (Panthenol), Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexyl Glycerin, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid.

Can this be used with Vitamin C Serum?

I use it every morning with the InstaNatural Vitamin C Serum! I've had no problems using the two together.

I have a very oily skin, prone to breakouts. can I use this cream?

The cream is great with skin prone to breakouts.

Do you use this product in the morning and evening as your only moisturizer for your face - one stop shop - one product?

This is best used as a night cream. The sun breaks down the retinol. Retinol also makes your skin photosensitive, so you'll definitely want to use a day cream with a higher SPF to protect your skin.

What is the percentage of retinol in this product?

I can't tell from the bottle. But for what it's worth, I've used several retinol products with similar prices and I like this one better. My skin definitely feels better and I think it makes a difference, my turkey on the neck is waddling

I suffer from dry acne. I am buying their Vitamin C Retinol Serum as well. Should I buy a different moisturizer that doesn't have retinol?

I have dry skin and this has not made it worse.

where is this product made?

This product is made in the USA and according to the product it is also made in FDA registered facilities in the USA.

is there sunscreen in this?

New. It says that retinol can increase sensitivity to the sun. Wear sunscreen if this product is applied during the day.

Will this cream work for oily acne prone skin?

Retinol is a wonderful ingredient to fight acne! And the vitamin A in the retinol removes dead skin and unclogs your pores. I recommend using it twice a day during a break. Once in the morning and once in the evening, and a little thicker coating at night and if the pimples disappear, just overnight would be OK! Hope that helps!
